Getting ready to do frist 3 on 50ft table

make sure you dont pop, suck up the lip as much as possible, try to start your spin really early so you catch a edge.

it's the same as any other 3, only you'll be in the air longer. just time it right and you'll be fine. OR you could try to set the rotation like you would for a 30 foot table and 540 it... just throwing that out there- you can throw it back if you want.

learn to ski and not rely on people on NS to tell you what to do.. only way to learn is to just do it and see what happens.. adjust and do it again

First off always take a pass at the jump and see how the lip, and landing look, I ski almost every day up in the same park and I always check shit out before I hit it. Next, get comfortable just straight airing the jump at first so you can get your speed and confidience up. Then once you have your speed, down try a grab. Once you have all of that stuff dialed in you won't have to be worrying about your speed and everything when you come in and try it, you can just focus on your spin. Set your spin with your hips, and let your body do the work, and not your arms. Get comfy on 3's, then add style, then move it up again!

Good luck!

thanks dude, i straight aired it and crossed it about 10x 4 days ago,im going up tonight to trow it down, i can get one at 20ft, im just alittle nervious bout this one though.

thats why you should get comfy on it by doing striaght airs, and grabs, then you won't have to be nervous... you'll be comfortable!!! let me know how it goes, good luck!

Why do kids ask about this shit? Dude, You go off the jump and spin a circle. If its bigger, spin slower. It's not rocket science. Do it the same as any other jump just slower. Fuck sake.

360's are easier on bigger jumps. Just turn your head, because you'll have enough time to do the full spin without winding up... Oh and my prediction is that you either freak out at a 180 and eat shit, or land backseat. Well good luck.

KLD and the other jerkoff complaining about this thread- go to hell. what better topic for a thread on a skiing website? fucking hardasses like you need to get out of our sport

anyway you dont need to worry, 360's are easier on bigger tables. dont wind up, just come in withthe rightspeed and slowly spin with your whole body. commit and dont bail and youll stick it first try no problem. seriously 360s are twice as easy on bigger hits, the first 3 i ever did was on a 45fotter, first try, youre not gonna have a problem

little tip...bring your knees up...it looks better and helps you spin better..once you spot the landing straighten your legs (not all the way) and you will come down nice and smooth..

once you get to 180 then you will be able to determin if u have to slow ur spin down, if ur spinning to fast just tweak ur grap harder
