First off always take a pass at the jump and see how the lip, and landing look, I ski almost every day up in the same park and I always check shit out before I hit it. Next, get comfortable just straight airing the jump at first so you can get your speed and confidience up. Then once you have your speed, down try a grab. Once you have all of that stuff dialed in you won't have to be worrying about your speed and everything when you come in and try it, you can just focus on your spin. Set your spin with your hips, and let your body do the work, and not your arms. Get comfy on 3's, then add style, then move it up again!
Good luck!
