Getting new park skis

Hey im getting new park skis for pretty much park only. Im about 180cm tall 165lbs. Looking at dumont, ar6, t hall and invader. The dumont sounds good but does anyone know if it is wood and actually sandwhich? because it looks cap but says it has slanted sidewalls for durability..
 
i have dumonts and yes they ar ewood core but no they are not samdwich.

its a really wierd cap though, instead of doing a steep arch, it makes a swoop like thing, so it like swoops in toward the ski, then out towards the base. i might have a pic so just hold on.

sick skis by the way.

i've skied all three a pretty good amount (mostly fs wrs *same as ghetto) and the ghetto is by far my fav. i didn't really dig the dumonts, they felt too soft. the ar6 was turbo fun, but just didn't feel as solid and strong as the ghetto. rossignol makes an absolutely awesome park ski in the ghetto. you won't be disappointed.
 
i agree tah the ghettos are really nice skis, but so far, i haven't heard a single bad comment about the dumonts.

to tell you the truth, i think this is personal preferance between these skis.

if you want a medium soft ski, get the dumonts

if you want a stiffer ski, get the ghettos

if you want a more mellow sidecut, but a similar flex to the dumonts, get the ar6. i actually was going to get ar6s but i decided i wanted something with a bit more sidecut, so i got dumonts.

these are all sick skis and im sure you'll be happy with any of them, i think you should just find out what you are looking for in a ski and make a decision based on that, plus a little input from ns.
 
I've heard amazing things about Lib Tech NAS, and they're the only ski I'd ever consider buying under 100 waist after riding Madens.

by no means is they dumont all-mountain, it not not all-mountain, but it isn't designed with that as a priority. it has park friendly dimensions, and a round/medium-soft flex patern, which is good for park. (specificly jumps)

you can still ride them all-mountain, i have them and i ride 30% all-mountain, but they're desinged for park.
 
i just sold fujas so i can get a stiffer ski for park. I think i will get the dumonts as i can get a good deal.I have some p10s for bindings, you think i should just use them or buy a lighter more current binding? not too keen to ruin a light ski with a heavy binding.
 
i dont know about the p10s but i have fks 120 with my dumonts and its pretty light. fks are 2.3 lbs while px12 is 2.7 lbs. to give you perspective.
