Getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow

When I got mine out it was awesome. The drugs from the operation made me feel great all day. I tried not smoking weed and cigarettes and drinking. I lasted about 5 hours on the cigs, a day on the weed, and two days on the drinking. I never had any complications. I put damp pieces of cloth over my wounds when I was smoking though haha.
 
if you inhale at all through a straw or a cig, something like that that puts pressure, it pulls out your blood clots and you need to get stiches again... i doubt that you smoked....

well anyway, if you are getting both out at the same time, it will suck, one at a time isnt that bad, it hurts like a bitch but it is totally barable, keep that shit iced and ur good, i took like 2 tylenol uber strength one time and i was fine
 
Actually from inhaling and sucking, you can potentially get "dry sockets" which are apparently really painful. I would wait at least 4-5 days.. My wisdom teeth surgery went so well, I could barely tell the surgeon actually did something back there..

got mine out a few weeks ago. It really sucked, it wasn't that painful, just uncomfortable and stressful not being able to eat well
 
Yeah braaaa im sooo stoked on all the pain meds i get braahhhhh. Just as stoked as you upper middle class white boy who feels the need to buy 5xl to fit in on the mountain cuz he has no real friends at school and mommy and daddy are never at home to support your emotional needs.
All three of mine were impacted. Your going to feel the worst pain in your life in the time between the drugs they give you in surgery till you get your first dros in your system. Then youll prob be like a lax braahh cuz you think they are soooo cool man. Fucking retard.
 
this. Im so hungry right now all ive eaten today was 2 bowls of vanilla ice cream and 2 freezy pops. Im dying for real food. How long till you could eat normally again?
 
it didn't take long to be able to eat soft stuff like ramen, but it was longer than a week for me to be able to eat mostly normally with it hurting pretty bad
 
haha between blowing my knee twice then surgery and my root canal in between, I've had a few "dros" bro. also my parents are home all day, both retired, that's the problem, it sucks. and I've stayed away from the lax brah lifestyle for 21 years, I plan to keep it that way, brahhhhhhhh :)
 
are you going to be awake, or are they putting you under?

i was awake, and it was pretty gnarly, i could hear and smell them grinding, and feel the pressure of them cutting along with the occasional very sharp pain
 
they're not putting me under, I'm really unhappy about it, any way I can change their minds, or is it usually a set decision?
 
They'd never take me alive if I'd have to be awake haha.

But I'm pretty sure that they'll put me under because of my parent's insurance.
 
I got mine out 2 days ago. I must have been insanely lucky because i have no pain whatsoever and can eat pretty much anything. They put me under too, I feel bad for you guys that had to be awake during it.

I think I was able to eat regular food like pasta and chicken the second day after my surery, Mine went pretty well though it wasn't too painful, but I did tak all the vics they gave me that week

I've also had a lot of work done in my mouth, and the dentist told me he wouldn't put me under.. I just asked him if I could get it done someplace else, and he recommended me an oral surgeon where they perform sedations. I highly recommend, being used to the rough dentist's work, everything went so smoothly. These doctors do about 5 wisdom teeth surgeries a day, they're experts.

yeee i had 5, i forgot who picked me up from the docs but i came back to memory with myself drinking a slurpee and defintely using a straw, never had any complications

BUMP! got mine out this morning, bored as hell. not in too much pain but didnt get many fun painkillers besides Tylenol 3s
 
I got all 4 of mine out about 4 years ago, I was just sedated but I fell asleep through almost the entire thing until i woke up with the docs knee on my chest pulling out my last tooth. Although, I dont remember walking out of the office, or drinking the booster juice my mom got me.. must have been heavy sedation.. I was able to eat pretty normal foods in about 3 days tho
 
I got all 4 out aswell and only sedated through an iv so i didnt fall asleep. So far Ive been icing all day and have no swelling in my face, is this good? or will it swell up tomorrow?
