Getting Logged Out

Hey,

Ever since I disabled the auto-refresh button I have been getting disconnected all day after i'm idle for a certain amount of time... I'm wondering if there isnt some sort of auto-logout after a certain period of inactivity. And, maybe the auto refresh has something do with that. I usually leave NS up day long and this never happend until today when i diabled auto-refresh.

I think Paul said somewhere that NS logs you out after 30 minutes of inactivity (i.e since you loaded/refreshed a page). thats what the auto redresh thing is there for (I imagine).

By disabling it and leaving NS connected on a single page and not refreshing/loading a page then the site thinks you've left and logs you out.

The shoutbox used to do it (so Iw as told) and so if you left it on a page it wouldnt log you out. But I can only guess that it doesnt do that any more...

ya i was on this site for a full year before i even thought of logging out, i had no idea what people were talking about when they talked about thread titles being black rather than blue
