Is anyone applying to college or what? it seems all my friends are getting into amazing places, and i hav eonly applied to one place.

If there is one thing I will be glad to never ever do ever again, it is the application process. Not only am i applying for colleges, but i'm po, so i have to apply fo scholarships to. aaahhhh!!.. I think i'll go skiing now....

I should be applying soon too... gonna apply to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and then in 2 years to the University of Calgary. Just when I thought school was over... 4 more years!

Bangor, i think that because im at universtiy i drink more. So in reality, going to college or university would incress your likleyhood of making drunken posts. thats just my thoughts.

I got accepted to Fairfield, St Joes, and University of West Virginia all for baseball, but I may apply to University of Utah for the skiing, but that measn giving up baseball... tough choices

UNevada Reno, Uof Utah, and Portland State University...I was going to apply for more, but I got excepted right away to the first two(the only ones I was interested in going to). I'm pretty sure im goin to go to Reno.

yea apps are a bitch to fill out but i'm done with that and have been accepted to all that i've applied for: UW_Madison, Western Washington University, UC-Boulder, and UBC. but really, i've been having a lot of second thoughts as far as if I really want any more education...

i applied once place and got in, and its where i want to go so i finished one more app that there is no way i can get turned down, and the U of M prolyl wont take me so im not gonna finish that app. GVSU here i come

I am currently attending UBC and lovin' it. WIfreeskier - maybe I can help make the call for you. Last year the two schools I was considering were UBC and CU Boulder. My best friend went to CU and I'm at UBC and I wouldn't have it any other way. For the first 2-3 months she was seriously considering transfer to UBC. The only reason she didn't is because her parents wouldn't let her. At CU she is riding a good amount and lots of nice mountains and studying her ass off in the engineering program. All of her other friends that aren't in engineering just party all the time. Paryting is fun, but would you like more out of school. The party atmosphere is so bad that she always has at least one friend drinking every night and people rag on you if you don't drink - yay positive peer pressure. A lot of her friends might not be returning for second semester, yay waste of money.

UBC on the other hand has Canadians. You always hear about how friendly Canadians are, why not come experience it; it's true. Campus can feel a little clostrophobic sometimes because living in res it takes maybe 20-30 minutes to get off campus - 15 minute walk to the bus loop and then just a few minutes on the bus. On the other hand, campus is GORGEOUS. Many movies have been shot here (The Butterfly Effect, The Exorcist (not positive on the name, it's new and not out yet)), and 2 weeks ago Smallville was filming here. Next topic, BC bud. Before I was at school out here I never smoked, had no desire to, but I'm out here so I figured I'd try. I had a very pleasant experience and all my friends from The States say it's much better. I could go on for quite some time about why UBC is your better decision and if you actually care to hear me ramble, message me.

I got my acceptance letter to Penn State about a month back. I'm just waiting to hear from Michigan and Boulder as those are my other top choices. I haven't visited Boulder yet, but a few of my friends have gone there and said it's beautiful. Plus you go to school with Jess Cummings, what more could you ask for?!

my councelor turned me away from Colorado cuz he said that its such a tuff school i wouldnt ski at all cuz id have so much hw, and if i go out of michigan i dont get the 2500$ from the state

ive been wanting to go to UBC since my sophomore year. There site says requirements are abround a 3.2 average and a 1200-1300 SAT. whatd you guys have? i really wanna get into UBC.
