Getting grips off k2 poles (the flexy ones)

i wanted to cut down my poles, they are the bendy k2 composite poles, but i have no idea how to, and im worried because they arent like aluminum poles (easy to remove grips)

how do i do this??

 
Pretty sure you can get the grip out of them just use hot water. If you want to cut them though I'm not sure you can because you can't really cut carbon poles which they are.
 
Heat that bitch up and Use one of those rubber things used to open jars on the shaft part and have someone twist the handel in the opposite direction.
 
hot water.. then when you cut them down and they get more narrow, wrap tape around the pole that will be under the grip so that it has the same width as before. you should add glue too.
