Getting good

Is a fuck it huck it mentality what makes the difference between a person who skis a lot and can throw big stylish tricks and a skier who skis just as much and maybe does sketchy butter 3's off of a cat track? (I know of two different skiers who fall into either categories who I think have skied about the same number of days total.

I am wondering because I see someones edit from last season and then an edit from the same person 3 years ago I notice very little progression in their skiing to be honest

Getting Good?

I think that someone's skill directly relates to their mentality of skiing; some people are perfectly happy just playing around and doing small butter tricks, while others have dreams of grandeur to be the best skier ever. For me, I kind of fit into the

Fit into the middle. Sometimes I'll want to huck and try new tricks, other times I'm perfectly fine with just goofing around and doing smaller, styled tricks.

Link, Huh?

And that totally makes sense ^^ but honestly I would have way more fun throwing big 1's and 3's and maybe 5's all over the place then throwing sketched out rodeos. We are getting FEET of snow by the weekend so hopefully this weekend I can ski alot, just got to learn how to get myself pumped up to try stuff that I am normally scared of.

Thanks

this is a true story,

so 2 seasons ago i was very hesitant to try anything. but last season at the start of the year i decided to take a different mentality on skiing (ie. fuck it huck it). anyways, my first weekend out last year i learned natural and unnatural switchup and 270 on and off's. i also get beat up a whole lot more, lots of brusis and junk, but ive gotten a whole lot better!

tl;dr JUST GO FOR IT AND YOU WILL GET BETTER

Hi my name is josh and i am the best skier on the mountain, and yes i have always been this good

I just know a lot of people who have been doing 360's for 2 years and I know they still don't look much better than mine which I barely learned a few weeks ago. Is it because they only do them once a day, aren't very strong skiers in general? I don't want to have to work at them for upwards of 2 seasons of lot's of falls to finally get some style into it besides looking like this: https://www.newschoolers.com/watch/395897.0/My-first-360?t=6 and that is honestly close to what it looks like.
