Getting Fired

I got fired today. I was a teaching assistant at my university. The man I worked for was one of the biggest asses ever. His name is Osama and he's from Jordan. He thinks that everything should be how it was when he was at the university there. He talks down to me because I am a girl. He told me that I am not a team player because I am the only one of 3 TA's brave enough to tell him that he's not treating us or the students fairly. He sends such convoluted messages like, 'you're good with the students, you grade fairly, you do your grading in a timely manner, but you're not a team player.' I think that he just has issues with me because I'm a girl and I'm willing to stand up for what I think is right.

hey i live in kamloops and you might of seen it on the news cuz ppl in newfoundland saw it but anyways there was this 56 year old man who got fired and got soo pissed he came back to the work area with a gun and took hostages! he ended up killing the guy that was gonna replace him and the guy that fired him and thn killed him self, all because he lost his job! that is crazy hey??

ehh, i've been fired plenty of times, most of them were for just reasons, but don't let it get to you, who wants to work for someone named osama neway? you should plant terrorist items linking him to them. that'll get him from teaching ever again, or say he sexually harrased you.

Well getting fired from being a TA is a big deal, at a lot of universities being a TA pays for you tuition, and you get paid as well.

I really doubt they were al-Qaida papers. They looked a lot like really confusing/wrong computer programming code! I am more pissed because he fired me because I try and be a voice for the students and others who have to deal with him.

no offense, but just let it go, there are ass holes all over, they are the ones whos parents pusshed them so hard when they were younger, didnt give them much freedom. Just let it be. He propably sees himself as doing what is best and cant see his downside.

i think i quit pizza hut today. now, i can work fast food, but when you gotta work for management that can't even fuckin' dress themselves in the morning to go to work and make me work all weekends (i worked thursday to tuesday from like early morning to close all thansgiving)... fuck that - last thurday we fuckin' ran out of cheese and were understaffed, always doing everyone elses shit for them. i hate incompitance... fuck them and their shitty pizza bullshit.
