Getting charged for street racing

well the story goes like this i was driving up at my cottage in owen sound when i saw my old friend i havent seen all winter so i pull up beside him at the red lite after the lite goes green we carry on on are way he mad a left hand turn into mcdonalds and i go straight to go home, about a km down the road she pulls me over for street racing against my ftriend who ended up getting charged too. so now i have a court date on june 26 at 10 in the morning and im going to fight it or my lawer will
 
and i beleive that story just as much as the judge will. i am sure your were not really racing, but i would put money on the fact that the two of you floored it at the green light just fooling around. that is what the cop saw and that is why you got the ticket. good luck though.
 
you might get hit with a careless driving. you'll have to pay it, lose a few points and insurance will jack up.
 
just tell em you live in toronto, and thats how people drive there. in small towns its all fucking old people and they drive slow as fuck
 
how fast did you get going?? they cant really arrest you for accelerating too fast if youre still under the speed limit, cause that is really gay
 
if you were speeding and/or racing your friend, deal with it; street racing is retarded and you got caught. You're insurance is high already, should have thought about that before you sped in town.

If you weren't and they got you for accelerating too fast and staying under the speed limit: bummer dude.
