Getting braces off ......

yeah it feels amazing. retainers suck pretty bad though. i only wear mine at night and my teeth have yet to move according to my orthodontist.
 
Yeah, thats for sure...kinda gross too

I hated the slimy feeling on my teeth. I had braces for 3 years, from 4th grade to 7th grade, and that slimyness bugged me sooooooooooooooooo bad...
 
ya like i really cant see myself wearing it all the time like my dentist said , i'll probably try to wear it at night though .
 
worrddd. i get mine off tommorow, and i just found out that my friends girlfriend is the appt. right after mine.
 
congrats dude, just be carfeul not to fuck em up now, cuz thats what i did after a few years having mine off, knocked my teeth out, had to have em surgically placed back in and then had to get braces again for another 6 months my senior year in highschool.
 
word, i got my braces off and wore the retainer every night for a little less then a year and then stopped cuz i was sick of the feeling and size of it, now i hav to get braces again because of it :-(
 
Gettin braces off is best thing in life, so nice that food doesnt get stuck anymore.
 
now that's one random number. but congrats to everyone getting the braces off. at first it feels weird and retainers are a bitch at first because they hurt a ton but after a few days they're good but remember to wear them - especially if your teeth were really crooked before braces because that's how they'll go back. gaps aren't as hard to get fixed.
 
yea i needed braces but found out it was only to fix this gap that doesnt really matter so i saved my parents loads of money
 
me too.. i get mine off at the beginning of next year.

yeah every i know always had to be feeling the front of their teeth cause it was slimy. didn't bother me at all though.

i swear my retainer messed my bite though, but i guess it feels okay now
 
OH good ness!!!! i was so thrilled to get mine off...it was rediculous

i had em for 3 years......and i had head gear too....BLEH.... u know shelly on south park

but its totaly worth it!!!
 
God damn I had mine for 3 years then had a year off then I got them back on 3 years ago because my orthodontist was a fuck up. Hopefully I'll get them off before next year though, I am so sick of having braces.
