well i ski at sunburst and the patrolers there are so stupid. they kicked my friend (who was shooting video) out of the park because he didnt have twins. when i asked why he needed twins they said because 'regular' skis will distroy the jump

 
this isnt about gettin banned but, at our mountain my little brother fell overotating a 540. A patroler happened to be there and he freaked out as my brother was puttin on his skis the guy comes over and freaks out makes him sit down and calls a sled a 4 other patrolers, they close the park down and bring my brother (who all this time is walking around saying hes fine)down in a sled, they then try and strap him to a backboard and call an ambulance but my dad steps in and takes him to the hospital. turns out the only injury he had was a small cut on his chin

haha, i dont no... all the patrolers seem pretty chill at bousquet, you can talk to them and stuff, the only time they have been a little mean is when they get in a pack they think the trail is theres and make you wait till you go down, but at Jiminy Peak its horrible the Patrolers are the worst they tried to stop a kid for speeding... and they actually made me wipe out because she shot out so fast from the side going like right over my skis.... it pissed me off, and in are after school skiing there we all got taking off the chairlift for throwing snowballs at people....

the patrollers don't do anything at my mountain unless someone gets hurt. they just sit around in their little patroller shack and make jumps and drink beer. this past season they made a hip right next to the patrol shed.

yeah ECpride i ride nash0ba and radford all the time betsey is a fucking pain in the ass. haha the best comment so far was the one about hoping she gets killed in an avy. well for all us unlucky bastards that ski in MASSAFUCKINGCHUSETTS we dont have avalanches. i know u cant imagine a hill that has about 250ft of vert drop but imagine and feel bad for us

I got kicked out of my local hill 'for life' because in the summer I hit a golf ball from their driving range and hit an 18 wheeler on the side. Kind of a jackass thing to do, but I've skied there so much after that, they never asked me my name.

Then this year I was going up the chair and there is a light on the racing shack with lexan over the front. I smashed the lexan with my pole and I'm a dumbass because ski patrol was behind me. Up top the lady bitched me out and told me I would have to pay for the light if I broke it (it's been broken for more than a year). After she was done ranting, I was like 'All right, have a good night' because I always say that to people who bitch because it catches them off guard. So she asks me my name and goes to the office to call my parents. Unfortunately my mom was working in the office that night and the bitch told my mom I was 'mouthy' because I told her to have a nice night. Then my mom kicked my ass around the house, but it didn't matter because my pass stayed on my jacket for the rest of the season.

seeing as I've skied at Nashoba for like 18 friggin years, I've had my fair share of run-in's with Betsey (and was she ever pissed when I started working there), but in all honesty she is not all bad, yes she can go over-board sometimes. But you gotta admit, she deals with a lot of stupid shit too. The throwing of the ski was most likely tossing the kids equiptment out of the way so he wasn't fumbling around with it in the way of traffic.

But, I am in no way backing Betsey here, I hiked the POS pipe they had for years only to read the snowboard only sign and go back down, and go back into it 10 minutes later, then it was twin-tips only (and I didn't have em), and so on and so forth. I have probably dealt with Betsey more than anyone in here (especially if you consider all the run-ins when I was a kid and who I was skiing with). Nashoba's policies and the Ski Patrol's attitude definately needs to change, the sport has changed and Nashoba is wayyy too far behind, however, I can honestly say, even with all the crap I have and other have and continue to deal with from Betsey, if I got hurt there, I wouldn't want one of the other patrol trying to help me out, Betsey knows her stuff, even though she takes it too far sometimes.

I can see it now, I'm prepared to be flamed on the board already...

 
and if Betsey every tries to take your pass away, go up to the office and plead your case with either Jonathon or Al (preferably little Al), they are pretty good at hearing you out. They've tried banning me years ago, but Big Al stapled my ticket back together and told Betsey to leave me alone. I also got banned from Loon for skiing their park (a long time ago), and been threatened to be banned from Waterville for skiing the Boneyard (back in the days before skiers were alowed), and threatened being banned from Stowe, Snowbird, and a couple other places for skiing too fast (WTF is that?).

Realistically, any area will take your money and let you ski, basically, its just a scare tactic to make you play by their rules.
