Getting around in fernie

I'm moving to fernie for the upcoming ski season.. will be living on ridgemont cres.. just wondering if you need a car or is the public transport, busses etc to and from the resort.. good & cheap..

There's no public transit but you can scam on the hotel shuttles...... sneaky, sneaky

dont they have those purple shuttles that go up to the hill every morning at 9 and some other times? I see those all the time and i go down there every weekend.

hitchhike, you get picked up pretty quickly, ecspecially if you have your gear on.

there's quite a walk from ridgemont to the pickup point but off cause its possible. there is a bus just down the street.
