Getting an Ipod to work on Vista

Hey guys,

I got my girlfriend a nano for her birthday and she telling me its incompatible with her version of Vista. Does anyone know of a (not too complicated) solution around this? She has the 64 bit windows vista.

Is there any software I could install, or should I just get a different mp3 player?

She has to download the new 64-bit version of iTunes from apple. Then it should work fine, at least mine does.
 
This is actually mac's fault. Thedriver or whatever should have been compatible from the ipods release; the 64bit version has been available for a long time now and is pretty widely used.
 
haha actually i got a new nano, and my old powerbook mac wouldnt work it. so basically i had to buy a new mac because i got a new ipod.
 
haha vista...thats some glitchy shit

but all ya need is the newest version of Itunes and it should work fine
