godaddy.com is what i used a while ago...oh and make sure you keep records of everything, even after the job is done. shit can come back to you.

by the way, how did you get a job as a webpage designer for a company without much experience in html? that's actually hard to do without a degree in new media

google '.tk' or something like that because I have a website for free and you still get to pick a domain name.

if you dont know HTML and you want to make a slick page, I would use Macromedia Dreamweaver Suite. It's spendy legit, but if you got a hookup it is the way to go. I went through Enom.com for my domain name. They also offer basic web hosting 9.75 a month. Plan to spend a lot of time figuring shit out since its your first time. For help I used to go to www.internet.com . PM me if you have any questions

It is a online business and I want it to be like any other online businees ski store.

im willing to pay up to 25 a year, the page needs to be slick

degree in media my ass, i dont have a degree in media and i run my schools website...and half the people on here have dope ass websites and they are still in highschool....

No HTML?? Go with Dreamweaver and play with it for a long ass time to get used to it..theres a website that has tuts on it but i cant remember it..

im talking about running a site like newschoolers or something just as advanced. your school webpage doesnt count, since its a volunteer/class thing. if its really good, post the url.

if you want to look professional go with .com,if you dont give a shit go to whateveryouwantyourdomaintobe.tk and get that shit

learn html

to be honest i'll purchase something even if it had a .tk domain as long as it was on a secure server ie:https://.

sure .com looks best for a business, but many new companies are trying to look 'cool' by going for something a little wackier, such as .ws or .biz really its whatever yyou or the client wants and what is cheapest at the time.

goDaddy is also a very good place to buy domain names, its chepa and you can handle every domain you buy in one place. I use it for myself and every client i work for who wants their own domain.

as for hosting. I'd recommend UZIPP.com.

I am just a worthless liar, I am just an imbecil, I will only complicate you, trust in me and fall aswell...

PS: $25 a year? you must be joking. a cheap host is around $50 a year. to get something slick and fast you need to dish out a bit more.

however if its a reasonable bandwidth and size site i can hook you up with soem cheap hosting as I have my own server space. just PM me if you got questions.
