Getting a new longboard

Alright so i sold my dervish because i want something different. I am intermediate at long boarding and am just getting into sliding. Where i live you can only hit 25 tops and it is mostly flat. I am looking for something with good flex, pumpability and slidability. i am 5'10 145. I have been looking into the bustin sojourn (sp?) but i really dont know anything about this board. I am open to any suggestions and i can only pay 250 tops.
 
maybe check out original or flexdex? original has kinda diff truck system but nonetheless..straight sickk..and flexdex has super flex your lookin for..can run it over with a car and wont snap..
 
Bustin Strike, I ride mine around groose pointe, jefferson beach, and parts of detroit, its so awesome
 
I've heard nothing but bad things about original trucks. I hear they break really easily and require a ton of maintenance. but I haven't actually ridden or owned them so u may have to look into it yourself
