Getting a Job.

The owners of the last place I went to yesterday weren't there so their cashier just took my application and said he would put in a good word. I used all of my resumes that I had printed out so I couldn't turn one in with this application. The cashier said the owners would be there all day today. So should I go back, introduce myself to the owner's and give them my resume. Or should I call first and let them know that I'll be coming in if they have time? I don't want to seem overbearing and a nuisance to them.

It's worth a shot to go in and see if they are there to introduce yourself. You may feel like you're being too overbearing, but to employers it can show commitment and drive. A phone call could work, but face-to-face contact wins every time. Good luck!

The more committed you are, the more you'll stand out. Everyone I talked to told me that I needed to bug them, and call them. What i'd do is just pop in. No one likes answering the phone at the restaurant that I work at, and hopefully the owners or a manager will be there. The owners are usually around before 2 in the afternoon. Hope that helps
