gettin pins taken out

im getting surgery next friday on my thumb and i was wondering how they take pins out of your thumb cuz i get one taken out 6 weeks after that

i had 2 pins put in my thumb last year. Its surprisingly crude how they take them out. They grip them with a 'medical' pliars, which is basically a needles nosed pliers thats sterile, tell you to look the other way and yank as hard as they can.

 
^ they did the same to my grandmother. she had a couple in her wrist and they just yank them out. she said it didnt hurt at all.

yup, here imagine this, i hurt my hand as we all kmow and they had to trim down the bone to make it stumpy, they used foot long plier's with cutting end's to trim down my bone, This is what my dad told me, i wasnt watching but i heard a loud pop.

Just dip your dong in paint and smack your helmet with it.
 
yeah K2jibber, unfortunatly that is the case. I had a pin in my thumb after i broke it and needed surgery and they use some pliers and yank that motherfucker until it comes out. The worst part is that the pin is not completely straight, so it doesnt exactly just come right out... goddamn it hurt more to get the pin removed then it did breaking my thumb. Good riddins to ya buddy, youll make it!

shiiiiit my thumb didnt hurt at all when i did it because i was to worried about my teeth cuz i chipped them...does the pin stick out of your thumb a little

i got 5 pins or so taking out of my foot. they put me under but it took them longer than they thought.. i woke up and felt them yanking really hard. haha, but after a week or two my foot felt a lot better. it feels good to get that shit out

 
it didn't hurt me to get the two pins i had in my thimb pulled out. i though i was gonna pass out, though, when i saw how the doctor was gonna do it.

 
I had two pins taken out of my hand in the middle of January after breaking my hand in a few spots. Like stated above, they have pliars and tell you to look away and they yank as hard as they can to pull them shits out. You would think it hurts cuz it is kinda fucked up, but it aint all that bad bro.

yeah the pin sticks out of your thumb, you will see if when you get your cast taken off. Its kinda disturbing just seeing something stick out like that. I kept the pin afterwards, to remind me not to do stupid shit anymore.
