while everyone learns different, i'd say give this a shot:
before trying to cross or grab or anything, try bringing your legs up in the spin. simply try bending your knees, and being more conscious of your legs, from the hip down. remember that they're there. once you have your 360's very dialed, this will be easier. get them so you can do them in your sleep. then practice bringin your legs up. maybe a cross. but again, keep looking for your spin and landing, don't forget, the spin is more important. a safety grab would most likely be the easiest, first grab. you can also just try a tip cross, the easiest way being like this:
if you spin to your left, spin your right ski with your body, instead of spinning your body 'around your skis' so to speak. spin your right ski slightly faster so it simply glides over your left ski, and boom, you have a crossed up steeeeze.
