Gettin a camcord

Yo holmes, to be honest, you're not gonna get a cheap camcorder thats good, you gotta be willing to drop some solid scrill on a good one, somethin like $800 will get you something that'll lay down some decent footage, or at least decent enough for a passable edit

We can't really recommend anything until you tell us what you mean by 'cheap price', as well as what you're looking for. Small and portable? Good for editing? High quality?

same here. and i have footage with stuff from my panasonic and footage from a vx2100 on the same tape and i can hardly see the difference in quality (you can only notice a difference when you use the panasonic in bad light). i think that just as long as its a 3ccd camera, the quality will be great.

u should only drop that much money on it if ur really serious about editing and filming and if ur gonna use the thing a lot. i bought a cheap, small, portable one for 300 and its worked really well for me. if you spend a shitload of money and dont use the thing often, you'll just regret buying it.

i have an hv20 it is really nice. now they have and HV30 and its like HD for under 1000.

its good for beginners like me but has very little manual controll (not focus ring or nothing)

but the quality is unbelievable for a 1000 dollar camera

If I we're you I'd go with the panasonic gs320 or gs500 depending on how much cash you wanna drop.
