is getboards a reliable place to buy skis from, ive heard bad things about their shipping in the past, are they any better now?
 
My recommendation is to order from Jibij... so reliable and very friendly. Getboards has a business rating of F w/ the BBB.

jibij has a terrible binding selection, even worse than d-structure. both shops have a good assortment of skis though
 
I got my skis from getboards, and got them in 6 days. no problems. they actually said 7-14 days, so they lied
 
i had a bad experience with getboards... they totally messed up my order... never even recieved the jacket i ordered, sent me the wrong jacket. i called them up and they said they didnt even have the jacket in stock... pised me the fuck off.
 
getboards is fucking pissing me off. i ordered line chron wides 13 days ago that said they had free 3-4 day shipping. im gonna start raging and flipping shit over and throwing shit.
 
I don't just want to preach for my company but it's really important to support real rider owned proshops.

Seriously what has certain shops who have the biggest share of the market ever done to promote, support and give direction to freeskiing?

Then look at what smaller core shops been doing lately...

I ordered from getboards and got my skis in 5 days no problems, plus got a freecopy of session1242.
 
getboards isnt reliable at all. if they dont lose your order, it will probably take a couple weeks before they ship out your stuff.
 
d-structure doesnt have any look bindings on the site, but they list look under the bindings list, should i call and ask?
 
yes getboards has tons of skis meant to be sold. they will come. my friend has ordered skis from them. came with some free stickers. really solid company. good customer service.
 
I ordered ARV's from Getboards last year and they arrived at my house in Alaska in less than 5 days.
 
i ordered helly hansan pants last year from getboards and i got siver cartel pants instead.... guess i just lucked out
 
i ordered fomr them and never recived a tracking order and call but they are always closed or somehting and never got any responces in like 5 emails and i think they are shaddy now, i ordered the reactor 12's and on their site it now says they are all out of them so i think my order is fucked and my stuff isnt comming its been 8 days so far.
 
When you guys ordered from Getboards, did they send you an email a day or two after telling you it's being shipped, or did you just get it when it arived?
 
never sent me a tracking numer or anything i have emailed them like 8 times and called but they are gay and close for "shipping",
 
yeah getboards is great to order from, i ordered a pair of armada t-halls 176 cm from them and they came right away and are just so sick
 
but did they send an E-mail saying the skis are on their way? They said they'de give me a Fedex tracking number, and I havnt recieved one.
