Getboards shipping?

apparently they are pretty unreliable with their shipping man, definitely give them a call
 
call them every day and tell them how you payed 5 extra dollars to get it to your house in 5 days and not 10
 
i ordered skis from there and it took them 6 weeks with express shipping. id hate to know how long ground would take.... but anyways i called to see what was wrong and they said that they hadnt received the order till almost a week after i made it. problems with their computer or something.
 
ya it tooke me a month when i ordered some shirts and hats from them. they were held up in customs for like two weeks and it took me like 2 weeks to call them and figure that out
 
i was about to buy the armada baller beanie from there but i didnt, because so many people said it was bad for shipping
 
Hahaha, ok, I guess this is where the biased information comes in on this issue being as I'm from Big Bear and all. Getboards as of late has been restocking stuff in their shop and have recently acquired a warehouse in Big Bear City, so they're busy getting all of their stock set up to better facilitate shipping to avoid situations like in the past. In all honesty, my dealings with Getboards have been very pleasant. Tony, the owner is pretty chill, and allowed me to do a payment plan for some THA 187s. They only had one pair for $399, and I didn't want to pass up on the deal, but was broke. Anyways, I think they're a good shop to deal with locally. I've been hanging out there a lot lately. I could go stop on by sometime this week and check up on people's orders that have not been recieved. Just PM with your name and what you got and I'll stop on by to see what the deal is...that is if they let me intrude on their business.
 
there such bullshit when i ordered my skis they said i was getting a t shirt and a ski dvd, i didnt get a t shirt and i got the shitiest ski vhs ever and i ordered gloves that said it was coming with a water bottle and i didnt get the water bottle and ive never gotten freeskier from them either
 
ya i ordered a shirt like 5 months ago, never got it. called and called and no one answered..... the place stole me damn money.
 
I haven't seen them in the shop yet. They might be in their new warehouse though. I'm gonna be going next week to get some siver pants and some bindings mounted, so I'll check.
 
yep i made one clothing order and had to call them for months to get it. they just dont seem to have their shit together.
 
Dayum, look at all the getboards hate. Hah! I guess this will be good because then none of their stuff will sell, and all the locals will jump on their going out of business sale.

Seriously, it seems like getboards may suck for online purchases, but if you're local (i.e. SoCal) definitely check them out, becuase they're not as bad in person.
 
It's really just a mixed bag with getboards. Sometimes you get your stuff really quick, and sometimes you don't. Just gotta call them to make sure they have your order and have shipped it.
 
well i ordered some stuff either last wednesay or thursday(i used the cheapest shipping) and i got everythingn tody(so it only took lik 4 days) exept for a wristband i ordered
