Ok, I have read a bunch of stuff about how bad Getboards is, but a lot of it relates to soft goods. How good are they with actually sending out skis? Are they reliable? I'm having a tough time finding last years Shadows in a 167 for my girlfriend and they have them (with free shipping too). Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 
I have been ordering from getboards for years and have never had a problem. A lot of people do seem to have problems with them, but they are pretty legit. I think service is just expected to be good, so you only hear about the things that go wrong. Just my opinion tho.
 
thats how it is with the majority of businesses.

people generally go into transactions with the idea everything will be all good, so when things go wrong of course theyre going to flip shit. it just seems that with getboards the satisfaction/dissatisfaction ratio is way off. which is why i will not order from them.
 
Thanks for the link. That's where I was going to buy, but shipping is 30 bucks...maybe I will just so I know I get the skis. Thanks!
 
ive never had problems with getboards. ive ordered multiple pairs of skis and many other items and never had a problem. and im about to order another pair of skis for my GF as well.
 
ive never really had troubles w/ getboards.. there was one instance but i think i read the order wrong... but i have had good experiances w/ them in the past from buying like 10 ski movies from them, at least..
 
I got my skis three days after the order was placed, but their communication sucks nuts. Other people on here have had problems but I didnt. To be fair I only ordered once sooooooooo............
 
I just ordered a pair of 2007 Line Chronics and 2006 Saloman 1080 Foil boots from getboards. Not only did they Fedex my package for Christmas Eve delivery (I had ordered it late) for free, but they ended up giving me 2007 Foil boots for the price of the 2006, which they no longer had in stock. Also, they oversold the  2007 Chronics, so they offered the 2008 ones for the same price, but when they didn't have my size, they offered me any ski in their inventory that had the same price as the '08 chronics.

Not too shabby in my opinion, plus, with the promo code on this site, my whole order was 10% off, plus free shipping.
 
oh and they shipped across country to MA in like 2-4 days from order which was placed at like 8pm, real good service for me.
 
if you really want a legit company definitaly use untracked.com they mounted and shipped my skis and i got them in 3 days for free
