Is It Safe To Say That getboards.com Is good for ordering skis only. Due to lack of in-stock items and shipping problems.
 
Their international shipping is terrible, but if you're willing to wait, it's worth it. Their selection of apparel is unmatched.
 
JIBIJ hasnt impressed me with their shipping speed as ive been waiting for my xl polycargo aeryx suit forever but that isnt their fault so im gonna give em credit. with all the rumor's ive heard from people on here i would never order anything from getboards.
 
That's because it hasn't shipped yet. Like I've told you, the XL blue pants are on back order from Aeryx, and have not come in yet. When we ship them to you, you'll receive it within 3 days.

a little industry competition goin' on here, lovin' it... my friend ordered skis from getboards last year and got 2 pairs in the mail, for the price of one, and he's the 2nd person i personally know who has had that happen to him...
 
i actually just ordered a sweatshirt from getboards and it came in 3 days earlier than the expected delivery date...i have nothing bad to say about them
 
If you ever deal with the owner or some of the skiers from the shop, you'd know that they're pretty chill. While I can't vouch for the shop in terms of online shipping, in person, they are pretty cool. The only thing I wouldn't do is get my skis mounted there, since I don't think they're certified. If you're local, I'd highly recommend checking them out.
 
same thing happened to my friend. when you order from getboards you either get fucked over or you end up up a few hundred bucks
 
to be honest, all this loss of business for getboards ends up benefitting the locals... like I was able to score some THAs for $399.... so... yeah, don't buy from getboards, so I can score some new gear for next year....
 
Because stores like getboards have terrible customer service and do nothing to re-invest in the industry that supports them. On the other hand, small shops like D-S and other are grassroots, you can call them and talk about stuff get deals or even better show up in person and chill at the shop.
 
Some people get bad shit from them some dont, I have ordered sooooo much from them and they have been great a little slow some times but great
 
All my experience with getboards has been good.

First, I heard about newschoolers through their message board.

Ordered some siver cartel shirt that wasn't supposed to ship for a month, got it 3 days before they even said it would ship.

Next my friend ordered a pair Public Enemies for a really low price and he got them no problems.

Next I ordered fujatives and got them a day before the expected delivery date.

Another one of my friends ordered AR5s and got them with no problems.
 
i ordered some stuff off of getboards a year and a half or so ago and they didnt ship me a good deal of the stuff i ordered, i called them and tried to resolve it, and they never did, i ended up out about 75 bucks. i filed a complaint with the bbb and left it at that. ive delt with josh at jibij bouth in person and ordering stuff over the net, so has my roomate. josh packages stuff and gets it out the day you order it, he also ships with dhl who is generaly extremely reliable. my roomate ordered some new pants from him last week and got them the next day. i think josh is a great guy and is very good about getting things to people quickly. i highly reccomend it if you have to order over the net. mad props to you josh.

i would also like to add, if you call the shop with a question, you dont get a machine, you get josh. thats some of the best customer service ive ever reciceved anywhere. he goes the extra mile and thats why the shop is so sucessful.
 
D-structure man, they always get their shit out before winter....i don't know about anywhere else.
 
Heh...check their ninthward soft goods inventory...Not there when you order it, not ever. Not their fault, though, Ninward didn't ship...

But Josh is the man though, gave me a refund, apologized and all. Great guy.
 
I'm guessing that this dude is like from the shop or knows the owner.... don't listen to him. 80% of the people had a shitty time with getboards.com. Don't order from them.
