on Sept. 23 i ordered a the '05 Line Chronic from Getboards.com. That same day to took the 493.00 dollars form me credit card. Tuesday, Spet. 27, still no skis, i emailed getboadrs and i got the message back that my skis were put on backorder. With no warning from the site, I got alitte upset and asked them when i would get my skis? They told me that they would be shiped on the following Monday and i would recive them on the corresponding thursday. Thrusday came and no skis! I called this time, can remember who i talked to , but he told me that they were shiped out on tuesday not monday and that they would be arriving on Saturday. I asked him for the tacking number he said he would e-mail it to me. Being a big moron and not thinking, if they were already shiped why can't i get the tracking number? Well its Sunday in the very early morning and i have no skis. I called me credit card company and they credited me account and i have been ting to cancel my order. FUCK GETBOARDS.com!!!! never order from them. I hope no one else has had this happen to them? I am so fucking pissed off!

its not that i am losing ski time its the fact that i found the skis i wanted before my local shop got them but now i am stuck watching the skis i want go a sale for a hell of alot cheaper. And if a site lies right to you, its not right!

 
dude, then just wait a while and dont buy online, and as far as everyone bitching about their stuff not being there yet, HAVE PATIENCE, they dont teleport the skis to your house. IT TAKES TIME. they arent screwing you, just wait.

just so you get the credit, don't try to cancel with getboards, it's not your responsibility since they are already shipped (not) how could you cancel. You just credited the charges because you didn't recieve the skis when they said you would so now If you recieve them they should be free.

yeah that happened to me sorta with my fujatives..they eventually came though, getboards is just realy backed up right now, this is about the time when EVERYONE decides to order new skis. Just be patient, tony is a nice guy

You need to chill out i worked at a shop that did a lot of shipping and skis get backordered and people have to realize you are not the only one in the world.

WHEN I STARTED READING YOUR POST I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO SAY YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 3 WEEKS OR A MONTH IT HASNT EVEN BEEN 10 DAYS.

But i understand with all that snow on the ground and you not being able to ski it that really sucks of course you wouldnt care if there was no snow to ski on right?

getboards tries harder then you guys think. they only have one shop with one owner and about two people working at a time. and most the time its not even there fualt for being late on the product. specially if its pre season. there just now getting there orders in. so hold out. you will get your shit

I have a degree in Sales/Markting and here is what I think about what you are saying (if anyone cares). It is no problem if an order takes 10 days or even a month if that is how long you are told it will take. You never tell customers something that is not true. If they haven't shipped out, don't lie about it! I don't care if getboards.com has 2 empolyees or 500+ employees you let people know when there is a back order and how long it will take to get them the product. If anything you tell customers it will take longer and deliver before the customer expected them to develope good customer relationships. I have personal experiance with Getboards.com and Skiershop.com and Skiershop.com is the way to go.

 
Its not the amount of time that it takes because I understand that getting close to ski season skis will be back ordered and take awhile,completely understandable (the same thing happened w/ me but they sent me the wrong skis). It is Getboards lack of organization and professionalism EX: saying they will email you your tracking # more then once and then don't or saying they shipped your order and didn't, saying they'll call you back and don't, do I need to go on! If you are going to spend a signifigant amount of $ money on something such as skis you would expect a company to be a liitle more professional than getboards.com is!!!

 
Yea pretty much the same thing is happening to me...i ordered the Chronics but they were on back order i orderd them like 3 weeks ago today and they still havnt come

they were just started shipping 2 days ago but i ugess they dont ship on the weekend cause it hasnt moved from bloomington CA...everyone keeps saying tha its not winter and it doesnt matter cause i wont beable to ski on them but its just the fact that there suppose to come in 3 to 7 days and its been 3 weeks and there still in the shipping proscess to get to me...

i have had troubles with getboards before, i think they are a little unorganized, but i called and they were like, oh sorry and sent me my order first class.

here's what you losers need to do call up line and ask them if they shipped everything to all the shops because maybe they tell them they be there and smoething happens it s not getboards it the companys that say it will be there and it dosent show for a week or so. just chill get sponsored or something

 
I think people who order stupid chronics should expect a back order since everyone it the fucking country ordered them... so i ordered my shit payed for ground shipping... they shipped it on Wendsday i had by Friday... yes sometimes order will get a little fucked up but cuz of that u can't diss on the store shit happanes its life fuck....

God you think i haven't called them!! I know that when you have and online store things sell really fast but if your site says that you have my skis when i place my order and then 5 days later when i try to ask why i don't have my skis, they tell me that they were put on backorder, and they already took my money, and then they tell me that i will get my skis in 4 more days, but no skis, and then i call them and they say the skis were shiped yesterday and the they will be another 2 days, yet no skis, i get kinda pissed.

Yeah Getboards does suck. I shouldnt be complaining because its not like im going skiing soon, but first they told me my MSPs would ship sept. 15th then the 20th. I called like a week ago and they said they just got them and they would ship the next day. then I just called today and they said the warehouse just got them and they would ship in the morning. I don't care if I dont get my skis for another month, but it would be nice if they didn't always Lie. thats not smart buisness. but im not really that mad because i got a sweet deal
