Getboards.com rip off artists?

Got an approval to return broken line reactors, sent them back with a request to call when they processed the return.....

No email, no call.

Ive called them 3 times now, get there voicemail everytime during BUSINESS HOURS....and no call back. No email address on their website....

Ive seen threads like this before, and after I get my money back Ill remember to give my business to a local shop.
 
yeah they fuckin piss me off. they do have an email though. i waited for my chronic wides to be shipped for about two months and i sent them an email. they had "forgotten" to tell me that the chronic wides were on backorder. by then i was ready to throw some shit and break some shit, and by the time my skis finally got there, i opened the box, and found not chronic wides, but just the normal chronics. had to send those back and they refused to give me express shipping on the chron wides adn i had to wait a few more weeks. one more small error by getboards and i was gonna burn some shit down
 
That sucks man, from what I know, most shops are closed up here in Big Bear... it's like they're on hiatus or something... If I pass by there I'll let you know if they're open...
 
I've read countless threads about getboards sucking ass. My personal experiences have been only good with them though. I know 2 other people other than myself that have ordered skis from them and had no problems at all. I've also ordered a shirt and ski bag and had no problems.
 
yeah they take forever to do anything. It took them a whole month to ship me a siver puffy jacket i ordered. It's definitley annoying and shit that nobody needs to deal with or should tolerate.
 
2 outta 3 times they didn't fuck up..and the mistake they made was for the better so i shut up. i still say support jibij though.
 
nah getboards is dope. go in there and kick it with them, good people running a VERY busy online shop. they are doing their best to improve their service this year and i cant even count how many times ive ordered from them and not had a single problem. so either your very very impatient or just fags.
 
sure, i order some stuff from them, it took 13 weeks to come and then they got the order wrong. It was alright cause it was all good stuff, but a mean they are so bad.
 
royce its prob because you ride for liberty and jibremix you should probably open your own shop that ships nationwide and has to deal with whinning 16 year olds all day. then get back to me.
 
but i wont be an asshole so yes obviously that would help and they would probably do that...if they could. thats having to pay another person. they dont make that much money.
 
yo i'm not doubting that they are nice people and that they are vey busy....but they have a worthless history with customer service. I ordered 1260's from them a while back, they said they would ship in 24 hours. after a month I still didn't have anything. After calling for 2 weeks straight they finally shipped, and charged me full price for shipping with no apologies. so no, i'm not impatient and i'm not a fag...they just don't give a shit.
 
i ordered my 05/06 publics from getboards and got them in like 5 days.... a little shipping issue cuz they sent me two pairs but thats the only think

one time i ordered helly hanson snowpants from them and the seam was sewn in crooked, the said it wasn't there fault, technically it isn't but its not very cool to sell shitty products, and they said there was nothing they could do about it, hence like 120 down the drain
 
ive never had trouble with getboards, but i can see a company like that having lots of trouble keeping things under control
 
Getboards has been closed this week. I just passed by there today and they were closed. I would give them a call next week. But yeah... I dunno about internet orders, but if you go there in person, they're chill.
 
who gives a shit if they are closed this week, if they had half a brain they would state on their voicemail that says they are OPEN seven days a week.....they can call me back, i shouldnt have to put any more effort into it.

ive never had any problems with getboards yet, i just ordered the line rasta t shirt from getboards on sunday, but i never got an email back yet, but i dont think its their problem because my brother ordered stuff from d structure and he never even got an email back yet either

2 of my friends who have ordered skis from getboards have not only gotten one pair sent to them, but 2 pairs. they got a sweet 2 for 1 deal, which is cool and all, but damn they messed that up bad...
 
i havent ordered from get boards but jibij is cool. if you have questions with jibij they contact you quickly and solve any problems.
 
the email address is on their website. for customer service, it is support@getboards.com and i got that from the website.

my only expirence with getboards, i did get my sweatshirt i ordered for christmas. i got it in the middle of march. that was after emailing and calling them multiple times, but wait, it gets better. when i got my sweatshirt, it was torn to shit, in both the front and the back. so i called them and told them, they said wait and we will send you the stuff for you to send it back. it took about a week to get that, so i send it back. its now middle to late april and still no sweatshirt. i waited that long because i knew about their problems. im starting to get really pissed, because this was the only thing i wanted for christmas. my mom called them and they told her that they were sold out of the sweatshirt, and that they would take the charge off of the credit card. im still wicked pissed about not getting the only thing i want for christmas, especially since it wasnt even that expensive. from my only expirence i have had with getboards, i now will never go back to order from there.

theres a picture of the front, and it looks like it was cut. there was more of that in the back, along with the whole top back looking like shit and then they still sent it out
 
ALWAYS GIVE YOUR ONEY TO A LOCAL SHOP/ They know more and can/will discuse any issue you have with skiing before leaving the front door.

support local shops! you wont have ANY of these problems, it may be more expensive right off but in the long run you'll save tons of money, especialy once they know youre a regular.

still no return call, still nobody that will answer there phone...and I still cant find an email address for them anywhere.

Its about to get fierce, Ill fucking storm the shop and take some shit.
 
Hahaha, for sure man... you don't know how many times I've gone to the shop and theres no one in there... I'm pretty sure if I wanted to I could walk in and walk out with a few pairs of skis and they wouldn't even know it. hahahaha... as long as I have a waiting car outside.
 
i think we should search all the hate threads about them, compile them into a email and send it to them somehow. then maybe they will realize what there doing wrong, personally for a while after reading so many bad threads about them, i though it was some kids running out of their basement.
 
Dude, to be honest, the place IS run by kids. Every time I go there, the only people working are 15, 16 17 year olds. I've never seen an adult there.
 
jibij and d-structure have never let me down. i order 5 shirts and a hoodie from d-structure and i got them in 4 days. I live in oregon and they are in quebec. awesome!
