Getboards.com? Legit?

My buddy is lining up a sick deal on getboards.com, and we're just trying to work out if its legit. cant afford to throw $500 down the drain. if anyone has had good or bad experiences with getboards.com let me know.thanks a lot.peace.
 
I have ordered a whole bunch from them starting the first year they carried Siver Cartel up until last year. I have never had a problem.
I have heard of people who have, you may get some responses here.
 
there's conflicting opinions on it. Some people have had trouble, others havn't. I wouln't drop all your cash on it tho.
 
i ordered a lot of stuff from them. they are good with prices, but i had a few problems with them. i sent back goggles the one time and they lost them for like 4 months, but they did give me an up grade. and then i got skis and bindings from them and they got shiped to the wrong house, but that was acutally FedEx's fault. but over all they are good, and when they mess up they do make up for it
 
i got a t shirt for 3 $ there (10$ shipping but thats another story..) and i got it real quick like 1 week or so and i live in canada so i guess its legit?
 
i wuz wundering if it wuz legit 2 but it iz super legit dun even wurry about it brohan its way legit.

dont do it, unless you dont need your shit for 3 fucking months. i have ordered twice from them. and never will do that to myself again
 
ive heard nothing but bad things from them. But "tony" said he will personally take care of newschoolers orders, his username is posted 2 posts above mine. So consult tony first i guess and get him to guarantee your order or something
 
They have been good to me, ive ordered goggles,poles,and apparel from them. One time they got my shirt sizes wrong, and i called and they said they would send me the shirts for free. I havent had any terrible experiences with them.
 
The advanced searchbar isn't hard to use

I do a search, open tabs with all the links i think might be appropriate, check the threads to see if they are helpful, post the links to the helpful threads.

In this case, the list was from another thread I posted in on the exact same topic, so I knew it was there.
 
ok, sorry for cluttering the place up with yet another getboards thread, yawn, but i have never seen anyone bitching about them. i'm just naturally paranoid. i didnt use the searchbar cos i was in a hurry. sorry if ive offended/wasted many peoples time. but keep the responses coming. people who have dealt with them for skis are the people i wanna hear frmo.

silence, why what you have done is useful, i have to say, people only make threads to bitch, never to congratulate. so its not surprising that the majority of threads slate getboards. i want to hear from everyone who has dealt with them.

There have definitely been threads on the alternative view saying that getboards is legit! And in many of the threads I posted, members came in and reported good experiences. SO it's not one sided, but as far as good/bad experiences go, the bad seem to outweigh the good..

I guess it's also important to note that many of the threads I posted are over a year old, so the company may have picked up their game.

It would be good for a getboards rep or the owner to get on NS and set the story straight.
 
We are legit, staight from the owners mouth and those are old threads.

i ordered a shirt from them a few months ago and i had no problems, i forgot to put the size in on teh order and they called right up and asked me for it. they seem like a legit bunch at getboards

I have ordered from them 3 or 4 times. Never so much as a package going out a day late. Always on time.
I would definitely order from them again. The only thing is- sometimes you can find stuff for less elsewhere. I was going to buy last years troublemakers from them for like $300 but i found them from aspen east for $275. So- if they're giving you a good price definitely order from them.
 
I would so check out Twin Tip Nation and see if they have what you want then call Nathan direct. Only talk to him, he so set me up.

from competion. we dont hear direct from screwed customers? WHY??? Not a phone message not an email???? so why would the post above me say order from twintip nation?? do they work there???

Basically if we ship 600 packages a day thats 219,000 packages a year and 20 people on newschoolers had a delay in their order, thats dang good. but like I said 20 people is too many. if you have had a problem

turns out that even tho a million threads have been made like this, this one wasnt that pointless after all. the owner has got to speak his mind. so mad props to me! WOOHOO!

shipping can get slow. but other than that, its legit.

and the shipping thing is like 1/500 odds that you get the shitty shipment
