YO, Couldn't find a pair of 175 ARV's in Colorado for the life of me! Wen't to Colorado ski and golf, didn't have them. Wen't to christy's, they called a bunch of stores in steamboat and avon etc, didn't have them. Called jibij didn't have them. Went on getboards.com and they had them listed for 369.99! I think this is a pretty good deal. I called them up, they gave me next day shipping for free, no tax cause im not in california. The owner of the company or something called my house, but I wasn't there. My dad said he was wondering why the hell they gave me next day shipping for free, but he convinced them to go ahead with the deal. Ordered them late saturday got them tuesday. Getting them mounted right now. GETBOARDS.COM rocks. They actually cared enough to call me and let me know the order was good to go, and to ask me questions instead of just putting me on the back burner. For those of you who want to buy skis, i reccomned, if you just want to buy clothes and shit can you blame them for fucking up your orders? BUY SOME BOARDS FROM THEM!

O btw sean, I think it is wierd you didn't get your skis on time. Did you call? or just place the order online? I always think it is a much more solid deal if you actually talk to a real live human being. I have sifted through numerous posts about people having problems with getboards.com and seems that people order like a fucking t-shirt or a t-hall poster and then they are like wahhhh i didn't get my poster mommy...waaaaaaa. I think if you spend some money with them and make it worth their time you will get waht you want, when you want and for just as cheap or cheaper than anyone else. Sorry if I am coming off as a dick, but I was almost convinced not to order from them cause of all the negative rantings I recieved about them. That is total bullshit. They are a credible company, and they actually CARE.

 
no, getboards doesn't care. any purchase should be worth their time. not just the big orderes. the customer comes first, and that should be important to a company. what the fuck kind of company blows people off because they only ordered a t-shit, or a dvd, or a poter. what the fuck is that? if a company shows that they don't give a shit, then guess what.. the consumer won't give a shit either, and the company will loose them as a customer. that means no more money for getboards.

 
So they can post shirts and posters but they shoudnt ship them to u if u buy them. Tell u what if that ur mentality mail me 20 bux and i want send u shit back ok. Also yy friend order skis worth more than a shirt and he got it a speedy 2 months later after mid season. i have had bad luck with getboards whenever i order something and get a fast shipping method it still takes months to get here

 
Yea I don't like ordering from getboards online. It took like a month to get my gloves I ordered then they were the wrong ones.

the way they do business is pretty weird. I ordered stuff from them a couple years ago and im pretty sure its some dude in his garage answering phones. I bought a movie and a sweatshirt, but they didnt have the movie i wanted so they just sent me a different one without calling or letting me know. At least they gave me a free shirt and a second movie for free because of it. Just didnt really make sense to me at all.

Man, I am a Denver local so of course i wanted to go jibij. But they didn't have what I wanted so I was forced to go the getboards route. I am not being paid by getboards.com, you don't know what you are talking about. I simply had a very good experience with them and wanted to give back. Take it for what you will.

 
getboards is way over priced, those arv's can be purchased way cheaper then 369. check out Jibij or proctorjones.com i know for a fact that they've got the arv's for 337$ tax free and free shipping. how can you go wrong?

Getboards sucks. I ordered my skis, and they told me that they'd ship out the next day (on overnight shipping.) They billed my credit card, but no skis. So I called them. "Oh yeah...we uh...never had your size, and you'll have to wait 'till the next order comes in."

2 weeks go by.

"Oh yeah...we uh...forgot to order your size, and you'll have to wait 'till the next order comes in."

4 weeks go by.

"We just shipped your skis, they'll be there tomorrow."

1 week goes by.

I finally get my skis (which were shipped standard, not overnight.)

Plus I never got my free t shirt.

getboards has been fine w/ me. stuff shipped on time, decent prices, stuffs in stock. only problem ive had is once they didnt credit a return so after i called once they got right on it. there definitly are better shops out there tho

 
I ordered some Helly pants from them, paid extra to had them 2-day'ed out to me. In appox. 13 days I got a box with the wrong size pants and a piece of computer paper that said "Sorry, only size left".

better to burn out...
