Get your fucking drone out of the shot

You read this right: anyone who shoots a shot with a drone in plain should be fired. One holy sin of skiing is having your photographer in the shot; then why the fuck is this permissible in A grade movies to have a hovering black dot in the shot?

I am speaking to you MSP and Faction. Your little black dot is stupid obvious and shame on you for thinking we would not see it. The land of Giants is the best example. 3/4 of the shots had a visible drone. I could even tell where the shot came from while watching the movie. Get that fucking drone out of there, or dont take the shot.

Its cost cutting at best and lazy at worst. If you can afford filming your helicopter rental; you can afford not using footage with a goddamn drone flying 2 meters away from the skier even shot of the edit.

How about skiing because you love it; not because 4 cameras are planted on the pro. I can see a drone, a photographer and another heli in a shaky shot.

Drone out of the shot yes… but I don’t mind having a videographer in a shot catching a second angle

you are right ^ , if he was using CGI, he would have edited out his pole plants... LOL

The Albatross makes candida cry in his sleep.

if you want an actually memorable AK segment this is what you should do. static fisheye at the top of the line-ending 50 footer. its just as gnarly for the filmer as it is for the skier

men yells at a dot in the sky, wtf is this take, why do you care? street clips have filmers in them all the time, it's documenting the moment, it's a part of it

Thats the problem, the shots are usually taken in a helicopter.

Do you watch ski movies at all?

oh word so you wanna wire me the dough or is there like a credit card you want me to put the bill on?
