So I went to my buddies place tonight and parked in a seemingly very legit parking space. As I go to leave, I notice my car is no longer there. So my first thought is "Oh shit, somebody stole my car." So I call the cops and get transferred to the impound lot. Apparently my car got towed but they won't tell me why and the lot is like a 20 min drive away. This doesn't seem so bad, but I no longer have my vehicle and it being 2AM on a Saturday night, all of the cabs are downtown. I called a cab anyways, waited half an hour and it didn't show, so my girlfriend called her dad to come pick us up and drop my off at the impound lot. Great, wake up the girlfriend's dad who already is not so fond of me to drive me to the impound lot. I get there and slapped with the $100 impound fee and a $50 ticket for being parked less than 5 metres away from a fire hydrant. My buddy told me that the house I was parked in front of were always flipping there shit because people are parking in this space that has room for at 2-3 cars. I am going to go back and check if I actually was less than 5m away (I am guessing that I was because supposedly they have done this before) and dispute it if I can. I was nice about it because I wanted to see what my ticket was for before I tore shit up at that house. Now that I know it was them and I know it was bullshit I have decided to turn to NS for help with getting back at them. Will baseball bats to the headlights suffice? Its 4:30 now, and I am too pissed off to sleep.

sparknotes: fuckers got my car impounded, took me 2 hours to get home and now I'm am down $150.
 
along the lines of smashing their headlights, why dont you just tape over their license plate and headlight with duct tape. no damage. and the chances of them getting pulled over is high. just wear gloves before putting the tape on.

I think u should just rob em, make them pay for ur ticket, don't kick the shut out of them. keep some class my friend. but actually being pissed off always leads to bad ideas.
 
They will immediately investigate you if you do anything to their property...you will be literally the first person thought of because they had your car impounded the day before. If you do anything do it in a week or two and by then you ll have calmed down enough to realize that although it was totally a dick move and unnecessary, you were parked illegally and they have every right to call you in.... EVEN THOUGH i wouldnt call you in

i just read your entire post and i dont understand who your going to hit with a baseball bat?

like did i not read this correctly? didn't you park near a fire hydrant so you got your shit impounded? how is that anyone elses fault?
 
Absolutely not. There might be one in the grass there, maybe it's something else, but that's a ton of room. I guess if a fire truck needed to park they WOULD need all that space though..
 
oops, just checked street view and there is a hydrant right beside there house.

and i was just pissed off last night, I realize that fucking with the property is a stupid idea, especially after posting bout doing it on the internet.

however, they just may be receiving some poop for the holidays
