I'm posting the same article I did on the North forum here because I know this is the most populated Ontario regional forum and a bunch of you dudes make the trip up a little north to ski Blue and Louis. And you dudes pump way more cashflow into them then we locals do, so your opinions and thoughts can make the hills think about it that much more.
Im sure many of you have thought the same thing I have for awhile, that the LINE Tell a friend tour should do a stop at our awesome local mountains, Blue, Horseshoe, and Louis. Well Im here to tell you it is so a possibility! Especially with our boy Cole Drexler on LINE, we should be able to generate more than the necessary hype to get make it happen. So basically first things first, we gotta beam the idea into the hills Management that this would a good idea, which it would for everyone involved! I've already taken the first steps in this, written up a template for the promo that I was gonna send to Horseshoe, and id be easy to just do a lil tweaking and be able to send it to Louies and Blue. I'm also gonna help to make the actual upper management notice this email, which means physically talking to them about it. Now I know a buddy whos pretty high up in the ladder at the Horseshoe, well just high up in the terrain crew ladder but still it would be something to work off, I know he could mention something to someone important or even get me in to talk to them. Now Louies, I've actually worked there, and I know some poeple who are friends with the family, and I know their super cool people always open to new ideas, also the dudes in the family I know several of them are freeskiers, so thats perfect. Now Blue im a little lost, its a bigger company for sure, with lots more going on so it might it be harder to get em to notice but im gonna try my best to just up and get a little talk with someone important, if someone could help me out there that be tight. And the next phase, spreading the word around the park community at these hills, getting the kids in the terrain park classes to be so hyped on meeting legends and skiing with legends, so they talk to their parents on how amazing that would be, the parents being important because their the ones actually spending money, giving their opinions and thoughts to management or even just ticket sales guys. Seemed like a pipe dream even to me years ago, but this could so totally happen, and im gonna be doing my best to make it happen. Lol this might be lil sad cause I know the regional forums are kinda dead, but I dont care im hyping this in every possible way I can! So who's with me?!
