This has to be a troll

That was my initial thought. Then thought maybe OP had just read other members posts and not yet bothered to look at the 2015 winter line that has been released already.

I'm pretty sure people are just making fucking threads without looking at the new stuff. Pretty sure this is the 4th thread I've seen on this. Sagas new line is dope.

I put in my code for the summer drop and it said it wasn't valid

Yeah I'm pretty sure its over which is a bummer considering I just got my University email address.

but a real issue that I believe saga should address is overall reduction in quality of materials used in its products. I have seen over the 5 years saga has been operating as a company a decline in material quality, and even in the style of the products being released. That being said interesting to see the scuba, beaver fur, moss revival.

saga no hate I have owned 3 full sets of gear from you. but I have not bought anything new in 2 years just because I have not really been Impressed with your products.

Some one needs to make an arcteryx of freestyle outerwear. I would buy a 400 dollar jacket if I knew It would last me 4 seasons and be the best jacket I ever owned.

side note I am 6'3 and nothing normal fits me, thank you saga for making longer cut stuff.

the monarch series is a step in the right direction at least saga I will applaud that, now just start making your shit in America and stamp American made on your jackets and I am sure you would see a boost in sales

The materials and construction quality has not decreased. When we added the Monarch line we used a better material than any other we used in the past.

In regards to producing in the US not only would that increase the price of the products but it the garment production facilities over seas are in general superior to those found in the US. We have sampled products produced in the US and compared them to those produced over seas and we found that they were more expensive to produce and weren't up to the same standard. Ultimately it benefits the consumer more to produce with the factories we do. If a domestic manufacturer can produce products to the quality and price we desire we would use them.

Y'all need to do something to reinforce the crotch area. I've ripped the shit out of my last 3 pairs of pants.

But dope to see the beaver n scuba back. No I can recreate my setup from 6 years ago!

This I would l

^this I would like to see. Saga have you ever looked into the cost of using goretex? Personally I woul be happy to pay say 500 for a longer goretex pro jacket. I love arcteryx pants the fit is amazing but the jackets are just not what I'm after fit wise. It would be great to have a new school brand offering outerwear which really could compete with the best brands out there.

As it is explained is several other outerwear tech threads if you want to make outerwear with gore tex you're essentially just paying to use the name. There are other fabrics with equal quality and waterproofing. With our Monarch 3L line we strive to provide jackets and pants that are close to what you're asking for. Even still though the size of our customer base that is looking for that specific type of product is pretty small. Hopefully over the years it will grow and we can continue to grow our products.

Lol. Go buy a Theta and stop crying if that's what you want. Just bring another $300 with you too and plan on another 6 years or so on top of that 4 ;)

Tall fit gore tex would be amazing.

Armada makes gore tex stuff. Right now none of it is tall fit, but I'm pretty sure they used to have tall fit gore tex(could be wrong though). And who knows, maybe they will have tall gore tex stuff in their 14/15 line

It's not just the membrane though that you are getting. To be called a pro shell the outer material ha to meet goretexs requirements, the amount of seam tape is measured basically to be called vortex pro it has to meet some pretty high standards and it's these standards people want. I will admit your 3l fabric is probably just as good but ther is no way of knowing without buying and trying it. If you buy goretex pro your buying a product you know will work well. That is the bigger factor I think. Having gore ensures quality generally. It's also nice having ogres life time guarantee. So yeah maybe consider goretex again and maybe consider the other reasons to use it rather then just the membrane it's self.

They make them.

Who does? The tallest pro shell I have found was te Patagonia powder blower. Pretty nice coat but there just is not much else. Most other brands using gore stick to a traditional fit to keep costs down. Having a brand which made goretex pro in a freestyle fashion would be great.

I like u my friend thank you for continuing my cause...

there are a few companies making tall skiing outerwear, a few as in I can count them on one hand.

There is absolutely no one making long tech rain jackets I can assure the general public of that.

THERE IS A MARKET FOR LONG TECH JACKETS COMPANIES..in the next year if someone hasn't created more tall fittings I am starting my own company
