I wasnt sure if this was a repost i didnt see anything when i search bared it...i just thought it would help some of you guys out..the website is www.vidtomp3.com..and u just copy the link and choose to download it in i tunes or whatever music player u have..enjoy!

or you could just use rapidshare or something of the like, and not have shit quality random ass songs from youtube

I just like this cite alot because i cant use limewire on campus so i just do that...but the other cites u guys put up are dope too

Yeah, I wanna rip songs off Youtube so I get shit ass quality that will sound crap on my spankin new skullcandys that will break in a few hours

well yeah of course, but I know there have been times where the only place I can find a song is on youtube soo..

Fact: Youtube streams music at 64 kbps, that's low quality mayne. Maybe it's ok for you, but I like hi-q because it sounds better on a good soundystem and good headphones.

Actually, iTunes gave me issues with the .mp3 I got using kickyoutube. I opened it up with Audacity and saved it as .mp3 (with the plugin) and the problem was resolved.

I would like to point out that you bought Skullcandys which are widely regarded by headphone enthusiasts as crap, so hop off your high horse because this is Newschoolers and not some Bose fan forum. Now I obviously agree with you that 64kbps sucks, and I can certainly hear the difference between that and 320kbps or lossless, but I'd rather be able to listen to a shitty quality version of a song than no song at all given the fact that I may not be able to find certain songs anywhere but Youtube,.

When I first saw this title I thought it was like a boycott on YouTube lol. but yeah there's also www.listentoyoutube.com

i forget the name of the program i have but it lets me download multiple song off of youtube at one time. its nice because 1. you know that the file is safe and there are no viruses, and 2. you know the quality that you are getting and you can preview it and not waste your time and get some crappy quality.

BTW, if you guys want a higher quality version of music off you youtube, you can append &fmt=18 to the youtube URL to get the MPEG-4 version of the video. This has decent quality audio (128kbps aac) as opposed to the junk you get from the standard flash videos (mono, crap sample rate). It also has the benefit that you can rip it to a .m4a file for iTunes/your iPod without re-encoding and without loosing any quality.
Basically, download the video as a .mp4, open it up in quicktime pro, extract the audio track, export the audio as MPEG-4 with passthrough set for the audio, and rename the file from .mp4 to .m4a. Then open in iTunes, tag, and you're done. A few extra steps then these all in one solutions, but you get better sound quality without re-encoding.

a girl i know just killed her computer doing just this last week. the computer techie pinpointed the viruses right to the music too. just throwin it out there
