Get me Stoked

I'm graduating high school this year and its lookin like University of Utah for me next year. I'm goin to visit this thursday but i'm only gonna be in town for like 2 days and will be of course checking out the college there, so i wanna know more about SLC than that.
SO, what should i be stoked about?

everything this is my favorite place to live man, people are way nice and very chill all the mountains are super close and you will get good student discounts on like everything including skiing, lonestar taqueria.

utah pow, short drive away to windells and timberline summer skiing, and the u is sick lots o parties and a very good school, jibyard. no gambling to waste your money on yay man i would never move from here ever

SICK SNOW
SICKK URBAN RAILS
ALWAYS COOL PPLZ TO SKI WITH! (then party)
AWESOME MOUNTAIN BIKING!
MOAB!
IDK man just tonz to do.. So much fun shit if you are willing to take the time to do it! Hit me up if u need a ski buddie

basically this, if you like to do anything outdoors this will be perfect for you. mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, its really an outdoors man dream. plus of course the skiing is great and i just love the vibe here. such a beautiful area, nice people, just overall a good time.

everyone complains about mormons. Don't worry there are plenty of skiers here. Just be stoked to ride some of the best snow in the country, and awesome terrain.
I love it here. (Current freshman)

Utah is the illest, my freshman year was so fucking fun and its just gotten better every year.

Skiing everyday

Hanging out with your homies that ski and snowboard at night.

decent variety of concerts.

super convenient city, mapped out well, pretty small everything you need in the valley is at least within 15 mins usually, not to mention skiing is only 15 more minutes!

Salt Lake is pretty ill, you will for sure enjoy it if you like skiing!

could be far better, really the only downside besides that its a bit tougher to have random sex in this state than others

The U of U is ill for longboarding if you're into that. You can ride the trax up to the top and ride down.

This is a lie, Utah is NOT the place for music. The rest of the state on the other hand is Grate! And if you like good music a lot of bands tour within a reasonable driving distance.

We have loads of climbing, rivers, backpacking, biking/almost anything you want to keep you busy for a lifetime.

Didn't even think of this but it is true! REALLLY AWESOME! ESPECIALLY late/ early hours when no cars are around.

oh my god i fucking love the U. definitely gonna be goin there next year. chapel glen 804, if anyone else needs a roomie i dont think i have one yet.
