Germany to Switz

I'm staying with some family in a small town outside of Heidelburg, Germany and am thinking about going down to Switzerland for a week or so to ski. Where is the closest/best/easiest place to get to if anyone has any suggestions... and is a train the best option?

Take a train to Zurich and hit up any of the amazing resorts....... Laax, Davos, Andermatt, Engelberg, ... there's even a direct train to St. Anton... doit.

I just got back from Davos, t'was sick. It is expensive as hell and there is no park but the snow is good and there is no one there. Little bang for the buck.... if I where you i'd go to a glacier = parks and snow

Laax has a park that is not on a glacier (2200m) and is sick right now.

Easter Switzerland / Western Austria has the most snow right now. No need to mess on glaciers with this much snow.

go to laax or davos. those are the two chillest spots.
