Turbo R32 > supercharged R32

Especially with the new EFR kit from HPA for the MkIV. $4,995 with numbers pushing 350+ HP/TQ at the wheels with only 7psi. Pretty moderate setup for a daily driver.

efr starts at $10499 for the mkiv, the dtm 7670 is $4995

for the same/similar power numbers, supercharger is $2000 cheaper, regardless, i have been on a supercharged bonerfest since i saw an mkiv r32 for $6200 (albiet in SHIT condition, esp the interior) and daydreamed up how sick it would be to supercharge it haha, mostly for the lesser seen sound/build in a vw.

Point me in the direction of a good diy on it! I kinda know what it is but just don't know what to look for when under the car. For now I plan on keeping it relatively stock, just a tune/chip and some other simple, cheap stuff.

Spent a solid 5 hours detailing it today and then rewarded myself with a nice drive. I'm in love, compared to my older WRX the power is so strong anywhere in the rev's, in any gear...its incredible. The Subaru was a bat outta hell in 1st and 2nd and then 3rd gear up were non-existent. This thing pulls just as hard in 4th as it does in 1st.

unfortunately, this is a rendered image. i saw this image one time and desperately tried to find more angles of that 959 but i found the guys page and he does a ton of cool car renders

Are you a member on VWVortex? They have a decently active MkIV R forum. I'm sure you could find a tutorial there. I have a MkV so it's a little different, but it literally only took me 30 seconds.

Went for a ride in a 2013 Golf R yesterday, unbelievable, unfortunately the kid didn't know how to drive and it was possible the jerkiest driving I have ever seen.

in my continuing search for a gti i found a great 2003 gti 1.8t, anyone have helpful info regarding this specific year?

I can tell with your username lol. I already used some jb plastic weld on the crack and it turned out perfect, just need a lil touch up paint and it'll be good to go. I traded him my E34 touring plus some cash. Only complaint I have are the federal 595's he put on which are great in the dry but anywhere else seem to be a bit scary to say the least lol. I woulda gone with some better quality all-seasons but winter is over now so it's not much of a complaint.

Thanks granite! It has a UM Tune and euro glass which are cool, probably a short shifter and maybe some simple bolt-ons. Maybeee an exhaust down the road but the flapper mod is definitely sufficient for now. I'm gonna try and keep it relatively stock...but we'll see how that goes lol.

My friend just got a red '88 535is. The car is in awesome shape. Sooooo sexy. He's probably going to throw on a turbo kit next year which would make for a reall fun time.

My wife just bought this in Germany. $3500, German spec, and it looks freaking new. They're like Ford's over here, you can literally pick from hundreds of the same car and just find a decent price.704730.jpeg

warum sollte ich Google übersetzen, wenn ich spreche Deutsch. ns nicht jeder Benutzer spricht nur Englisch

Such wow Much bilingual

In other news after looking for about a year for an 04-08 German car in somewhat good condition in Colorado I finally picked up an '09 Subaru Outback 2.5xt and before I get shitstormed for saying this but it was not my dream car from the beginning because I really wanted an s4 avant, the Subaru is an absolutely terrific car with out being all Sti boy racer-esque. I would still love to get my hands on that German but out here in Colorado it is just too hard to find a manual German that isn't driven into the ground.

you are the reason that auto companies can tack on these "standard features" on a pathfinder, call it an ifinity, and charge you up the ass for it.

fuckwit

why cant we all just get along! the gearhead community on newschoolers is a bunch of biased savages compared to the rest of the world. lets all be friends and appreciate cars for what they are and what makes the different around the world.

now hug each other and lets continue.

Absolutely agree with this guy! Cars are cars! Unless it's a damn escalade or almost any Cadillac from 1980 on.
