Yes, the oil industry is very corrupt and Americans are tired of this. That is why companies are creating hybrids, flex fuel, solar, ethanol, etc.. because they know it is a selling point.

Yes, they have high taxes. But they also have better healthcare and education. I wouldnt mind paying high taxes if I was assured healthcare and state funded colleges that will let my children excel in the world. Obviously, you must not value those things for you or your future children.

Also, if you somehow havent noticed, the US economy is pretty much shit. The EU will take over as most powerful pact soon, and I doubt the US military will be able to compete with an alliance that has such a strong economy backing it. Basically, we're not going to be the strongest forever.

Thats the thing about nationalistic pride. Its great for rallies, but man, it blindsides those annoying statistical facts.
 
Alternatives are still highly unfavored, despite all of the government tax breaks and all. A few months ago, it was $10000 cheaper for my dad to buy a Silverado instead of a Tacoma due to governmental tax breaks. Alternatives are in no way promoted in any meaningful way yet.

i can agree with you their except that the US is not socialist, we may have some socialistic programs but we most closely resemble capitalism
 
well yes, this is true, we are halfway there.. but we are missing what could be the most beneficial socialist development.. and thats healthcare.. it works in a lot of european countries. most of the people on here that are so against universal health care(or any sort of social healthcare program) are rich enough to afford health insurance... thats why its so frustrating to even discuss this kind of issue..

Do you think they care if a big mac costs about 8$$$ They don't even have to fucking worry about the cost of their house cause they get one for free when they turn 18 (99% sure about that although I may be gettign that confused with the natives which is ridiculous). Don't even give me shit about how then there's no motivation to work and what have you, it's not comunism, they're just as free as you are (except their governments probably don't try to hide as much shit from them) and they still get to keep enough money after taxes to still have motivation to work. Let's say you're bill gates son, do you think you have to a thing with your life to be wealthy? of course not. Now let's say you're some random poor kid, the way the american system works odds are you'll never gain wealth no matter how hard you work or no matter what you do. you CAN NOT raise a family on minimum wage and it's practically impossible to pay for college on minimum wage.

And they aren't about to get invaded because they don't go prancing around with their balls out acting all cocky and pissing the entire fucking world off so much they acctually have religions that hate them, not because the US would protect them. You can't "liberate" a people without their consent/wanting you to come liberate them...If you really want to imply that George Bush is a liberator.

Then I blame you cause people still want to kill me. I'm pissed that you didn't ever thank me for capping that doushbag.
