Hey NS, as most of you are all aware, Freeskier Magazine is having their annual "Skier of the Year" Poll. Up until tonight, Kim Boberg and George Rodney (two skiers who both deserve the title) were neck and neck in the running. A few hours ago, Gus Kenworthy used his massive social media following of people who have nothing to do with skiing to take lead. My boy GEORGE RODNEY is right behind and unfortunately, Kim is pretty much out. Right now, a person who was hurt for almost the entire season is beating someone who worked his ass of and won the FWT his rookie year. Why? Because people from outside our sport our voting. Had a hard time choosing between kim and gus went with gus because he works hard and i wanna see him win it go suck Georges dick if you want him to win so much chill dude
 
ive voted for rodney 3 times now. he put down the sickest of lines this year and deserves it more than most. also im really starting to dislike gus and all his publicity shit. all his facebook posts of him singing and stuff is getting on my nerves.

annoys me that gus did that. he is going to ride his coming out support all the way to skier of the year when he was hurt half of last season. i want kim to win, but george deserves it just as much. bottom line people who have never been skiing are voting on skier of the year which is fucked

true. when you can bomb down 20 foot cliffs in super sketchy conditions on a 50+ degree slope gradient with racer form gimme a call. as of right now george is quite easily the best technical skier on the list, honestly id like to see candide try and pull some of the shit rodney has this year idk if even the freeski god could string his lines together

The Bec De Ross is an incredible peak. Some of the most impressive skiing I have ever seen Candide do was during the year he won the FWT and came in third at Verbier. I wish I could find a video, but Candide really destroyed it, although he did not quite win. The Bec De Ross is my favorite ski contest of any type. To win that you have to be one of the best skiers in the world.
