Menstruation Skateboards

Thema meiner Diplomarbeit war die Gründung eines fiktiven

Skateboardlabels für Mädchen. Es erschien mir immer schon unpassend,

dass Skateboardlabels durch die Bank auf diskriminierendes Design bei

ihren weiblichen Kunden setzen.

I do not feel insulted nor impowered, just embarresed the concept was funny.........and then it drove to failure

It's German. A girl made this fictitious skateboard company as her diploma thesis. And she thinks that pink-flower-girlie designs are stupid because chicks that are into it are riding horses and don't skate. Her "confident and feminin project is based on a market gap and is everything but nice.

She tried too much imo...

bullet tampon=win

very interesting concept......I honestly wouldnt be able to take it serious though....

Wow, Way to hire some dude for marketing with a weird fetish for something that most women hate more than anything. I wonder if any of those women riders even remotely like that name. Just because they are girls and want something that can call their own doesn't mean act like a retard and write obscene things on the bottoms of skateboards and call it a company. If anyone could create a skateboard that has identifiable marketing campaign towards periods I think Deathwish is the only company who could do it right.

Also, if the girls are looking to not be objectified as only eye candy, I would say this works pretty well. I am very distracted.

My bad, didnt read any of the German. I geuss I understand the gap, but still. Im sure I would puke if there really was a skate company that produced tee shirts and advertisements like that. No girl would be into that. Also, why so vulgar? Is the thesis a statement that men are just vulgar pigs that love blood and that women are not allowed to even has a relation to it because of social standards?

I bet the college professors just loved how racy this was! The only way to get noticed in this day and age is to go over the line.

I don't mind it that much, I just hope I never see any of this product in physical form. Because there will probably be an overly unfeminine dyke getting in my way at the skatepark. Well I geuss it was going to happen sooner or later.

I think it's just a way women are trying to gross men out. They might as well have replaced all their slogans with "EEWWW PERIODS, GROSS!!!!" and it would come across the same. Just women trying to look hard and try and do something punk. It comes off as juvenile, forced, and immature as a statement and brand. Who cares if you have periods? I know lots of guys who don't give a fuck. Men don't have a slogan called "Taint Cheese skateboards". It's just childish.

Yeah sure girls movement, but seriously? THere are normal ways to endorse it. I'll admit the "Brittney cunt skate" board was pretty funny

i think you'd get more respect as a girl if you shredded and didn't give a fuck, then having to remind everyone that you're a girl...skateboarding.
