being a genious isn't about retrieving unbeleivabl amounts of information or memorizing hundreds of books. its about how large your vocabulary is and how you approach word usage in your sentences. actually nevermind that wouldn't make sense at all. dude where is my car?

genius is a condition of the person and not necassarily a reflection of there education or upbringing. true as you get older and learn more things you effectively get smarter. however if your looking at the classic defintion of a genius it really has nothing to do with what they know so much as how they process information. things like pattern recognition and advanced use of simple things such as mathematics and language. this is why I.Q. tests differ between age groups and/or educational background. of course a 40 year old will know more than a 10 year old but the child may have a higher I.Q. . think of it as the ability to learn and not what you've already learnt

yeah genius isn't what you know. it's how you figure things out. 'normal' people try and memorize common sense things while people who are considered to be genius material think their way around it.
