General Advice for Buying, Selling and Trading here on NS

it kinda sucks to be a new member because even though i'm legit its probably gonna be hard to buy/sell stuff
 
let me remind everyone again, flipping will not be tolerated. i know mods dont really do anything about it anymore, but i know that i, along with several other senior members, have no problem with destroying your thread.

that means no flipping of WM, TD, or Brociety stuff. that ALSO means no buying jiberish only to sell it hours later on here for twice the cost.

B/S/T is a place to make a few bucks selling your old gear, and at the same time hook up a fellow nser with a good deal. its NOT a place to sell stuff for more than retail, because you want to make bank. you want to do that? go to ebay.
 
i wasnt trying to sell it for any other price than what retail was, i was trying to hook up a fellow nser, i ordered the jacket but i was having second thoughts about if i wanted it or not. Thats why i made the thread its not like i was trying to sell it for 500 dollars.
 
stop backpeddaling. you said "i want to see how much i can get for this" or something along those lines.

general rule would be no more than retail plus 10% which covers tax/shipping.

this only applies to new items though. trying to sell your beat jiberish for retail plus 10% is also shenanigans.
 
no i was just trying to get my money back, sorry if my wording didn't apply that. I've only been on this site for 3 month cause i started skiing this year, Im sorry if i didnt know all the "rules" or newschoolers. Ill email them to have the thread taken down, im sorry if i upset anyone

 
im a total noob, and i was wondering how u do the actual transaction of buying something (i dont have paypal eather so that is a problem)
 
I am having an issue with posting a picture on a thread... I click the 'image' button, but nothing happens. To be honest, none of the buttons work. Not even the bold. Anyone have any suggestions?
 
Couldnt find the answer to this question in the thread, but there was a lot of thread to go through. What does bump mean? Completely new to this thing, sorry if thats a stupid question!
 
I'm new here, and just to clarify, does Jiberish refer to the general category of clothing other than jackets and pants? Great advice, btw.
 
WTF happened to this...all the titles now are so vauge and non-descriptive I have to weed through 100 threads of garbage to find a pair of decent crowbars.

It used to be if you had a sale and had good stuff for fair prices it would sell. Now its getting increasingly difficult to sell anything on here due to the sheer amounts of straight poop for sales.

Don't bump a sale unless it's a good sale! "looking for gibberish xxxxxl rare WTT my old computer mouse and 3 skittles." "sick sale bro, bump!" it's so stupid.
