GearTrade.com

Part of backcountry.com I think, but a gear swap. I've been wondering the same because there are some legit deals on there.

It's individuals selling gear, Backcountry is just the largest seller.

Buyers can get great deals.

Sellers get screwed. Be careful if you're selling, and don't trust these douches.

gear trade is very legit i have bought like 5 pairs of skis and sets of bindings. one pair of skis did come to me broken but they were very good about the return and gave me my money back immediately. and one time i ordered a pair of gloves but they were no longer available and they again gave me my money back. All in all gear trade is very legit more legit than buying used gear of kids on here definitely go for it

Just bought Alltime plates. I got them for 150 shipped, which is about half off retail. They were lightly used, and will need to be cleaned up, and one of the screws needs to be replaced, but they shipped on time, and were pretty much in the advertised condition. If the price is right, and you don't set your expectations super high, you can find some really good deals.

i've bought tons of stuff through them, but only BC.com items just so i know i wont get ripped off
