Gear you Avoid

why do you avoid the the qst line

Because I folded both the 92 and 99 in half when trying to ski them evenly remotely fast and aggressively. They are a beginner ski. The nose can’t hold up to any aggressive skiing without giving out.

And look PXs

I was gonna say this too. These bindings and the newer version suck and have bad heel release characteristics. Myself and a few others I know have gotten hurt ejecting from what should have been normal releases.

Kinda weird how everyone is saying Saga, Full Tilt, Jiberish, and Line despite products from those brands being super popular with this site's users

Rossi's gimmicks have gotten really stale lol. Im hoping that black ops marketing campaign they had a few years ago when the ski was being made in limited quantities was a joke because at that time there were TONS of similar freeski/jib-specific pow skis on the market that do that skis job just as good, if not better.......But it guess it was something groundbreaking for rossignol.

The only bindings I have experience with from Salomon though are STH Drivers and the STH2 16s which have been nothing but solid, I like those toe pieces a lot for some reason

Have you skied on the black ops though? Its actually a sweet ski I really liked the 98 especially.

How is that weird? People super familiar with those products are going to have an opinion on them

All big brands have turned to shitty quality because of the scale of manufacturing, Big factories pumping out thousands of skis with finger linked cores, layup imperfections, etc. If you want the most durable products it usually tends to be made in The USA, Next best is Canada. The quality from those two countries is just better period.

Good Quality Brands: Deviation Works, J Skis, ON3p, Gilson Skis, Harvest Skis etc.

Bad Quality Brands: Armada, Line, Volkl, K2, Faction, etc.
