Gear rumours 20/21

Didn't Faction also supposedly move production to a bigger factory (Salomon)? If true, I'm sure it wasn't cheap, but hopefully it ups their quality/durability.

And they dropped all their reps and it sounds like they’re going in-house at least that’s what our local used to be faction rep told us.

They're moving most of it to the Fischer factory

Another difficult to read tgr thread, some cool looking stuff for sure but I'm unclear as to why anyone would wade through the shit to find tidbits of useful info on that site.

I think the shift boot looks pretty cool, I actually like the colorway and the general low profile shape of it.

Saw some of the new line stuff yesterday. Mainly just the new graphics. Didn’t see any new ski. Don’t know if there is anything new.

Full Tilt rep mentioned a new touring boot coming from them be interesting to see what it looks like.

Damn lol. What’s up with the new Full Tilt touring boot? He did say it isn’t based on the classic shell. That it’s based on the descendant shell. I was hoping it was the classic shell.

It goes alongside the ascendant and is dope I was wearing them yesterday. OR show starts 29th of this month so not much longer to wait.

New Wildcat graphic looks pretty dope. I guess the Wildcat theme is progressing into deep space. First, the launch graphic, this years moon graphic, and next year looks like some Star Trek shit.

Sick Day 114 goes away, becomes vision 114 with the vision shape/construction I believe according to the rep, Sammy gets an FT, it'll either be the ascendant as it is now or with a lighter shell. Either way, 2 ft touring boots, basically ascendant and then lighter shell ascendant. Heard there's a narrower sakana called the Blade with some metal, 95 underfoot I think. Pandora gets a 112/114 ski I believe, sick day construction. Not sure if supernatural is sticking around or not. Haven't seen the catalogue yet.

I've been told the TWP gets a makeover with a new shape and flex pattern. not sure if thats for 20/21 or 21/22 though.
 
Mindbender 108. Skied the whole reckoner range today... I promise no disappointments. They were the tits. 102 super playful... the 112 perfect all rounder held the edge surprisingly well. And wasnt really the snow for the 122... but was alot of fun to mess around on

I'm super excited about the Blade. Sidecut radius is simply listed as "tight."

MFree line will be based on the current Proto; heavy, twin, big radius, Richard Permin designed freestyle charger. There'll be a 108 (172,182,192) and 118 (180,189). Very excited to try the 108's.

Was kinda disappointed there was no 185-188cm MFree as 182 is kinda short and 192 too long. Still want to try it, the Revolt 104 and the Reckoning models out!

Agreed but if it's like the Proto, it'll measure shorter. The 189 Proto measures out to be like 186.5ish so a 190 could be a 187ish.
