Think the release will be the same as the mindbender... not in the 19/20 catalogue. Due January as a teaser release. As far as I know... could be different in the states

They shipped back in February as an early release... so normally the replacement of the marksman and catamaran are following the same pattern.

They need to come up with a safety release in the toes.

There are three bindings on the table, Alpinist, Jester 18 Pro and the new concept plus a skiboot with tech inserts..

Im a student at UNH and I took a ski industry class this past spring. One of the guest speakers was a Sales Analyst for MDV and when I asked he confirmed that Marker has a few new touring options coming out in the next couple years

Atomic has brought them back. I'm stoked to try them. I'm a boot fitter at my local ski shop so we get to go test a lot of stuff. It's really nostalgic for me because I learned to ski on a 195 pair of salomons and a pair of rear entry alpinas

They're ridiculously comfortable, but if my memory is right, I think they only go up to a 110 flex so definitely targeted at the rental / beginner / people-who-can't-get-into-normal-ski-boots demographic. But they're by far the easiest boots I've used to step into and I think they could be a great way to decrease the barrier to entry for skiing for a lot of people.

Rental / beginner market boots and the better performing boots are quite expensive.

They also have those Air Fit buttons so you can increase the pressure..

The skis of that Savor line have grip zones in the tip so you can carry the skis more easily..

I think I've seen it alluded to on here that for 2021 K2 will have a new line of freestyle touring skis. Which makes sense because Pep had these proto topsheets mounted with kingpins in an episode of The Fifty Project and Andy Mahre had these with kingpins as well on insta.

I'd guess the new Jeffrey based on the mount. 2020 is the second year of this Kartel/Jeffrey shape and ON3P runs a 2 year design cycle so we should get new freestyle skis for '21. All I know is that those throwback tops are pimpin.

112 underfoot, +/- 17m radius

My guess is a stiffer and narrower version of the QST 118?

No pictures or more info yet but keep your eyes open this season, they will have some guys skiing them, maybe with standard QST line topsheets..

Why would one want a 112mm underfoot ski with a 17m sidecut radius, what is this for? Picking one's way slowly done something steep in mixed snow so one can say they ski "the double blacks?"

yeah, very much so. I really, really hope they're making a narrower version of the 118 and not messing with the 118 itself, cause that thing is just about perfect IMO.

Very interesting.

I would have zero problem with the Soul 7 and Super 7 HD getting killed off (just not my kind of ski), though I'd be really surprised if they actually do what Parker said they would and kill off that entire line completely / don't replace it with a line with a similar demographic, simply because of how many they sell. But I guess we'll see in the next few months.

Really, all I want is for them to take the BO 118 and shave 10 mm off. Leave everything else the same.

to me it seems kinda dumb like the soul series has been the best selling skis for like 5 years in freeride
 
I think what pwhite was saying was anything that fits into the freestyle category will go under the black ops name. I sincerely doubt Rossi would kill off the 7 line/branding. Seems more like there’s gonna be the 7 line, and then the black ops line. I’m guessing the scratch is gonna become a black ops 80~ then there will be the 98, hopefully a 108, and the 118 and all the kids skis being called the black ops pro. This is just speculation, but I think the most plausible option considering the way Rossi has done things in the past.

i agree, but personally i think they should rename the 7 to "Dad Ops"
