So I posted this on snowboard.com and got some weak ass replies...

Aight check it, I'm doing the whole get back into snowboarding thang

and I need some help to pick a board. I've shredded for 4 years before

so it shouldn't take me to long to get the hang of it again.

As requested by the forum mods, here are my stats:

Height: 6''

Weight: Not 100% sure but around the 165-175 range.

Boot Size: Shoe size is 10.5-11 not sure what that is in Boot Size.

Ability: Beginner-ish, probably get to that intermediate level within a month or two.

Riding: The plan is to hit up the park but be able to shred the rest of

the mountain too, so all round. East coast riding so no pow pow.

So far I've been suggested K2 WWW, Rome and StepChild boards by

friends. If you need any more info just say so. Thanks to anyone who

takes their time to reply, anything helps but if you can go in-depth

about it it would be sik. Thats all for now, paeyce!

P.S. Keep in mind I haven't snowboarded in a longggg time so keep disz shit noob friendly, thanks.

If anyone could also mention some cheap shops (online) for this gear it would be sik, I don't have infinite amount of money to spend so keep that in mind too.

not being funny mate. but this is a ski forum, maybe you should have just tried a different snowboard forum to get more responses? we tend to talk about skis surprisingly

why do u want to switch back? yeah this isnt the best place to be asking skince it is a skiing site

go for a rome agent, its a basic level board but made mostly for park. heard nothing but good things about it

yea, if you have the money go for a rome agent.

I also really like the Sapient Evolution board, handles great on rails and can go all around too.

what ever you do dont buy a beginner specific board, rome agents are supposed to be a really nice board but i always wanted a rome artifact which is a really sick board but might be a little hard to learn on because its so flexy

you may need a wide board if you're snowbaord boot ends up over 10. don't go with the WWW, it's too soft for an advancing snowboarder. if you want all mountain capabilities id look more at a zeppelin or the salomon tracker (sick new sidecut idea and lots of rubber underfoot for a great price)

u should check out some of the ride boards, they got this thing called slimewall, its pretty sweet, and they have quadratic sidecut, all this crazy new tech stuff. Check out the ride kink its a pretty sick board from what i have learned from the ride reps

Oh..... I've also been checking out boards like the Capita Stairmaster and K2

Darkstar, the Skate Bananas have also intrigued me but I'm not looking

to spend more that 400$ on a board.

Probably what I would like to know the most is: 1- Is there a major

difference between a true twin and a normal board? 2- How soft is too

soft? I need a board that will be buttery and fun but that can still

get me down the mountain.

If you got tips for boots/bindings too just holla.

well, im wearing a rome hoodie at the moment, and its comfy, so im going to have to sya buy a rome board, the agent to be specific
