well all i can say is hey, during the winter this site was totally hardcore, and i went on every day, got trick tips and everything. i dont know if you guys saw my as one of those stupid little fucks, but i dont care anyways. i stopped goin on here for a long time after snow melted, mainly kuz i got back into skateboarding a lot. in my personal opinion, its the lack of winter that is making this site different during the summer. im just guessing that probably a lot less people care about skiing in the summer because they do not care about skiing enough. i care about skiing, but skateboarding as well. those of you who do both as wel probably understand that when its winter, you dont think bout skating much, and summer you dont think about skiing much. that my opinion, but like always, im not bitchin out on the site.

well, i'm not really sure what to say in order to add something constructive.

this site (and it is a great one harvey) has enrichened my life but certainly does not control it. there have been periods in the past where people have lost there focus and gone down the path of ignorance. if i were to let these people get to me i'd probably go nuts (as it would seem some of you have).

i've been on here for a little while and truth be known it was better 'back in the day'. however progress and evolution (of this site) can't be stopped. it should however be born out of mutual respect and understanding. unfortuantely you can't control you neighbour. attacking or flaming and individual is unacceptable. instead try putting that mush some of you call a brain to use and challenge the ideas, not the person. on the flip side if someone disagrees don't get overly sensitive about it.....relax. it is just a website. let's try to grow as a community.

in the end the righteous will survive (you all know who you are) and the rest will move on.

I agree- there are definetely a lot more of what appear to be 14 year olds just replying to serious posts with something like 'you're stupid'. I was having a great time debating religion and stuff like that even half a year ago, but then once the children started going at me instead of my ideas, it got pointless, you know? It seems like anyone who posts something in opposition to what the grain is, they get shut down, called names, and told not to come back. Instead, maybe the kids could learn from these views and be edified by differences. I'm a Christian, I'm not shy about it, but I don't shut myself off to thoughts that go against mine. It's frustrating when people are so ignorant that they won't even think about what someone else is saying before they bring up the 'reply' box and type 'you're a fucking moron' or something. Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, try to learn something, and who knows- you may even help someone some time with things you pick up. I have no desire to go to the non- ski gabber any more, and until I'm proven wrong that people will actually respect each other there, I won't be back. I find that there are more tolerable people on the ski equipment and other categories.

Another thing that might help- type as if that person was right in front of you. If you wouldn't say something to their face, why say it over the internet? You're just lying to yourself.

Every summer about this time people start bitching about bitching.... it's because we've gone without snow for about 3-4 months and we know we still have about 3 to go. Skiers get bitchy during the summer and that's a fact. The content of the site will degenerate at a set rate during the summer, then reachieve its strobilaciousness by the time the first dump hits Jackson Hole.

And don't look up `strobilaciousness`.... I made it up.

Smart smart children. lol. Actually yah, it's all a cycle, we went thru this last summer too. It's just magnified now because there are more people. Everything got cool again in like September, october once season neared.

actually in my opinion i think its gonna get worse by next january febuary because there will be even more members and people will be smack talking and well i just think it'll get worse then, but who knows its pretty bad now, i dont feel like this is 'my' forum anymore, i feel like an outsider

i havent been around that long.. but like really, the ski gabber seems to be fine.. i dont see a problem with it at all.

i have no problem whit it.. mabey this site was better before, but i just ignore the pointless threads like 'killing' and things like that.. and ignore the flamers with bad comebacks like 'ur gay' and 'fuck you ass cock'.
