This sounded really familiar, which is probably cause we're from the same hill. So yah, thats the rule at Canyon. I think most resorts are that way for liability reasons.

stop bitchin, my mountain's insurance dont allow them to build kickers over 4 feets.we only have lauchers you have to bomb 1/2 the moutain to reach a flat landing
