I don't know if this has already been posted but i want to hear your opinions on whether or not it should be permitted by law. i won't think your gay if you are for it.

In my opinion, it is wrong. That is coming from a very, very religious standpoint. i believe that it is just another step towards the destruction of this nation. I believe that people have homosexual feelings naturally, but that doesn't change the fact that it is wrong. I feel that if we allow gay marriage, than other forms of sexualality will want to break the rules too. Such as polygamy and animalia.

what would make a gay couple married? like what benifits would they get out of it besides satisfaction. (i dont really know anything about the technicalities). and if they are already going to be together anyways, what harm would letting them marry do?

Gay couples should be alowd to marry. They desrve the tax breaks and the fact that if one of the two die, the other man/woman can claim assets. It also eases in adoption, but thats another topic. I also believe polygamy and polygandry should be alowd as long as there isn't obvious violation of rights an freedoms.

I think civil unions have all the same benefits as marriage from a legal standpoint. I think fags just want more recognition as being equal.

I'm tired of this different but equal bullshit. I hear it out of women all the time. They only wanna be equal on things that are convenient such as pay. if you want your mighty nation to stop degrading, you should stop allowing divorces, atlest if you allow gay marrige, married couple numbers will increase...oh and the whole equal rights issue, as yes they are all people.

civil unions dont have as many benefits im pretty sure but i could be wrong and there only recognized by like 2 states i think but again i could be wrong

i think that gay people should be allowed to get married..i mean..if i was gay i'd want to be able to marry the person i loved..and i think the bullshit about it being in the bible about it being 'a man a women' is the lamest excuse ever..yeah ok slavery was in the freaking bible and people reinterpreted it because it was wrong. i think that people should 'reinterpret' it so gays are allowed to get married.

marriage was made by religious people for religious people. gays are frowned upon in most religions. Being gay and wanting to get married is like being black and wanting to join the KKK. They are trying to join a club where they aren't wanted. furthermore, the prnciples of marriage run counter to the principles of being gay. Therefore, gays demanding marriage are simply looking for attention and drama and not a meaningful cause. In short, gay marriage is a waste of everybody's time, like girls guides wanting to join scouts so they can use knives go for days without shaving their legs.

Oh yeah, forgot this....I just had a good friend of mine come out of the closet. Nothing between us has changed at all, nor has any other friendships he has with our other friends. Now why wouldn't I want him to marry someone that he loves?!?! He has every right to be happy and do as he chooses, not as the gov't chooses

i dont think gays should be allowed to be married... getting married goes way back to histry, and it is strictly between a guy and a women...now we're trying to change it all after hundreds of years? i have nothing against gays, its just that marriage is a privilege and a bond between a man and women......not between the same sex. they can do w/e they want, live together, w/e, i dont care, just marriage is a privilege...........

people talk about marrage being religious, and that if forced to gay marriage would infringe on what mariage is, so in that case i suport a gay union where you can be joined like mariage, so you can get the same marraige rights, such as tax bennifits, and able to vissit/ make decisions for a loved one in the hospital. banning gay mariage wont stop people from being gay, and making gay union of somesort wont spawn more gay people.

hetero couples raising families contribute to the economy in ways a gay couple simply cannot for obvious reasons. Therefore, married couples earn their tax breaks, etc. while gays do not. they just a piece of the pie and give nothing in return except a huge legal bill.
