Irotate, it was the right thing to do for him to resign....not because he is gay, but because if it had gotten out before he had a chance to come out and say it, it would take away from him being able to fully focus on his job. Its similar to why the governor of CT resigned a month or so ago...he was in trouble with allegations of taking free services from companies, and instead of go through all the bullshit, he resigned for the sake of the state.

The guy he had an affair with was blackmailing him for better jobs and better money. It was a good thing he resigned. Not because he's gay but because he was abusing his power.
