you know that book great expectations,

yah

my class had to read the book and watch the movie from the 70's(the one with anthony hopkins), but any way we have to write a five paragraph essay about similarities and diffs, and its really gay, partially because we didnt even finish the movie. So if you have any suggestions

i read that book in 8th grade so i don't remember it very well. i didn't see the movie though. sounds gayly retarded. good luck on the essay, i know you'll think of some stupid shit to write.
 
hes not freaking out, hes just stating his opinion on the word gay, which i agree with. wow 5 whole paragraphs? That will take you all of an hour! Just wait until you get to college
 
well its not really supposed to be a good thred just wanted to see how pissed i could make people

see most of you are expecting something gay and when you find that it really is you get pissed because in some weird way it makes you look gay
 
you know... by using the term "gay" in this context your discriminating against homosexuals. what if perse everyone were to become gay except for yourself? then instead of asying this is gay they woudl say htis is straight, bi etc.

so you shouldnt discriminate against other peoples choices that you dont agree with.
 
i'm sorry i dont go to public school where teachers dont give a shit, but at my school you actually have to work to make a good solid essay, i was just stating my opinion about how i hate writing essays
 
dude im not even in high school anymore. No, i don't go to a public school anymore. 5 paragraphs is nothing. You've probably already written it since this thread is from a few days ago. How long did it take you?
 
Not a long essay to write at all, but it still sucks. I hate when teachers say compare the movie and the book. I'd rather discuss the points or themes than say well in the book pip jerked off to a donkey, but in the movie it was a goat!

Tough deal, Im_sorry but you don't get any sympathy from me. First of all, I thought that it was a good book back when I read it (and, no, it wasn't in a public school so I did "actually have to work") and second of all 5 paragraphs is nothing. I'm guessing that you must have some shred of intelligence to be admitted to your private institution in the first place. Why not use it and crank out a short 3 paragraph (the introduction and the conclusion can hardly count as paragraphs) - 3 arguments to back up your point?

And if you hate writing essays then don't write it.
 
Five point essays in high school took literally fifteen minutes from start to finish, and that's if I felt the need to masturbate after the first sentence. Clearly your expectations are just too homosexual.
